Why MJ punk @ss not in any videogames

It is the same reason you do not see Charles Barkley: they want their money.

I'm not sure of the numbers but I remember seeing that Jordan did not make more than 5 million a year (pretty low considering the caliber of his superstar) until the mid-90's, so saying he didn't play for the love of the game is a far reach.

All players are covered by the group licensing agreement between the players' union and the league, but Jordan reached his own licensing agreement with the NBA in 1992.

Jordan holds his own licensing rights for several products, but not for trading cards, uniform jerseys and video games. He was apparently trying to amend that 1992 agreement as it relates to video games. He signed deals to have his own games made, then refused to allow his likeness to be used in the Live, Shootout, and 2K games because of some legal/financial mumbo jumbo

certain players have different agreements when it comes to licensing... mj used to be in the early games like lakers vs. celtics, bulls vs. blazers, and the usa basketball
