Why Jay-Z is relevant Musically Today but 50 Is Not

Jay drops an album every 1-2 years while 50 drops every 2-3 years. Jay puts out more features than 50, if you notice not a lot of artists outside his camp collabs with him until recently. and even that isnt saying a lot. There consistency ratio is just completely different.

I think when you come into the game on some big scale selling 10 mil, there is only one place to go. People get sick of the guy is who is all over the place, on top of the fact that 50 was never that nice or diverse to keep the consumers attention. At the end of the day Jay is nice as a mc, beyond all the money and extra shit and he never oversaturated himself.

I also think 50 story was viewed as pretty gimmicky, that got shot 9 times got old pretty fast.
