I used to not fuck with future around the time of this thread but the nigga turned me into a fan in 2013

I bet most the dudes in this thread that was Future haters are now believers lol

Because this isn't a party. This is a web community that discusses hip hop music and shallow music leaves little to discuss other than vitriol.

Going through this thread made me realize a few things.

1. A lot of niggas from the south never been past the south. Niggas life experiences are very limited. They go off hear say and speculation when it comes to other regions.

2. When referring to the east coast. Just stop. You niggas are only talking about one city. Niggas never bring up jersey, Philadelphia, Connecticut or any other northern state.

3. If you never been to NYC how can you accurately access wtf is going on up there. For those that have been there no that it's one of the most diverse party scenes in the world. Shit I can remember a time in the 90's when they wasn't even playing hip hop in clubs no where. Just reggae and uptempo R&B.

4. Speaking for myself. I've traveled west, south, and even overseas. I've heard Jay Z songs in all the clubs I've been in those regions. So cut the bullshit.

On some real shit im from Brooklyn. And I know a lot people. Never in my life have I met a MF DOOM fan anywhere. Never even heard a record of his until this site. That nigga never had no records played on the radio. So all that shit you niggas talking is uninformed BS

Went threw the thread, and came to some of the same thoughts....When you actually experience places, you get a different effect...From traveling, I was able to see how others got down, and I realized a long time ago, that we all dont party to the same shyt...Saw my old post that said this was some troll shyt because the T/s ask why is party rap looked down upon, then proceeds to diss what other people say they party to...lol... Shyt, when I was in the Bay for a little while, I'd be up in clubs listening to shyt I never heard before, and if the ladies were dancing to it I was dancing with them...DC area, went to a go-go spot and that shit was serious....This Panamanian chick taught ya boy the basics to salsa, merengie and shyt went out with her and was two-stepping to the musica latina...Seems like a bunch of local cats up in here..

Solid post save for the MF DOOM comments. If you are from NY and never heard of KMD. Zev Luv X, and DJ Subroc I have to question if you are a Hip Hop fan period.

I would like for the misinformation to chill. Hip Hop didn't begin with party Music. Dj's like Kool Herc and Bam were spinning records from folks like Incredible Bongo Band, and Kraftwerk while B-Boys and B-girls danced to it. Hip Hop had no specific MUSIC at it's inception.

The problem isn't north or south. It's Hip Hop bystanders who have no knowledge of the Culture. What's worse is, they don't care to find out to clarify either. Hip Hop isn't just Music. It's Djing, B-Boying, Graffiti and Music. The Music was the last piece to of the puzzle. The other arts predate the Music.
