Just got back from my usual club spot and this were the songs I've heard from my recollection:

2 Chainz "I'm Different" and "Birthday Song"

Kanye West, Pusha T, Big Sean, 2 Chainz "Mercy"

Kendrick Lamar "Swimming Pools"

Lil Boosie "Swerve"

Lil Wayne "No Worries"

Trinidad James "All Gold Everything"

Rick Ross "Hold Me Back"

T.I. and Lil Wayne "Ball"

Future "Turn On The Lights" "Same Damn Time"

Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Wale', T-Pain "Bag Of Money"

Master P "Break Em Off Something"

Juvenile "Back That Azz Up"

Tyga "Rack City"

Just from memory...

Gave a Wack not cuz of u but the music sucks.

Lil Boosie gets absolutely no play here. I never heard a Boosie song on the radio since Wipe Me Down.

But those are the current staples that get the women grinding and twerking on the floor and the majority on that list isn't wack....by party music standards.

I bet if I listed Papoose "Bucket Nekkid"
song on there you would've had a change of heart.

Great party song by a great Mc.

But, But you cant do great dances like The Jerk, Crank Dat, Dougie, Stanky Leg or The Money Dance to this your limited to the Harlem Shake.

This generation likes to have fun and actually dance.

This is dancing

actual choreography and rhythm

Today's club scene is just getting down with a chick and grinding on her ass, which is nothing wrong with that.

But don't ever confuse actual dancing with grinding on a chick.

Every Little Step >>>

Can't speak for others but I love party rap and I got love for the south. Lived in Georgia for a couple years.

A lot of posters ain't versatile. I don't understand how you can't like certain party tracks.

Different music for different moods and settings always.

Once again: Does any of these songs play in NYC clubs? And if not, what songs are played?

i appreciate every type of hip hop i think there's good n bad music in all the eras of hip hop, the main stream is more lacking diversity in whats being played, alot of time they force you to listen to some bullshit over an over untill you actually start liking it, mainstream media brain washing, i enjoy a good party anthem tho

So true. Like someone said, you can't tell an actual party track from a track that is made strictly for the strip club anymore. The lines got blurred and even the kids are exposed to this shit on the regular.

Lol @ niggas going to the club to bust a move on the dancefloor

Unless you talking about stepping, leave the "dancing" to the females.

So you gonna mean mug in the club all night and let a chick magically grind on ya dick?

LOL Having dance moves that are choreographic is not gay. popping ya hips and going overboard is just flaming homo. I wonder how these dudes go to weddings n all and not know actual choreographic dancing like the electric slide n all.

Quite sure that some of those songs get spun, you'd get a session, but reggae, rnb, hip hop maybe even a sprinkle of reggaeton will b the be the majority of whats played.....I'm usually at the grown n sexy spots through out ct/ny and you wont hear any of what you listed......

Funny thing is: most of those joints are played in the grown and sexy spots. And yeah.. I almost forgot about the reggae such as Elephant Man, Beenie Man and Sean Paul.

My point was the fact that no matter how wack people may think these artists are overall, when it comes to the party joint stats they get the club popping.

I agree.....but some failing to realize that a Mr Fab record will get the party jumping in the bay, but wont get spun back east.....we dont all party to the same shyt....yo you will hardly hear any new hip hop in the grown n sexy spots straight 80's 90's mixed in with rnb, reggae and a little soulful house music
