plus only 13 people will even give the this battle any attention

yeah man we heard ya the first 100 times you said it in this thread. i really don't care much about Nelly and there are definately MC's that can get at KRS. aint going to dedicate my life of posting to trying to convince someone KRS is better than Nelly lyrically tho. That whole 'battle was just a waste of time really. no one in KRS' core fan base would buy a nelly CD anyway so he wasted his breath telling his fans not to. regardless of what KRS said, Nelly was going to sell the same amout anyway. But again, fuck nelly this is about Bis and KRS. Same with the Bis vs LL battle. Bis won it lyrically but LL sold more records.T. KRS got ethered when Nelly album went over platinum then turn around & Nelly made him look like a desperate old timer in his interview at which he was. If he aint desperate for attention from Nelly (a top artist at the time) then why in the fuxx he not jumping out his chair to Canibus. Im trying to tell yall KRS picks his battles & opponents for him to be a battle rapper, Canibus exposing KRS heart & the results KRS is a coward
true but one makes commercial hip-hop on purpose and the other makes it for the underground. it's two different agenda. KRS should have just left it alone because he had nothing to gain.Mr. 66Hundred;1830718 said:stupid ass rappers and the stupid ass record labels they sign to made hip hop about record sales... not fans

right. but like i said in the pos you quoted, LYRICALLY bis won it. But yeah i say overall LL came out the winner regardless of sells. I was just making a parallel to compare what some are saying here. Lyrically KRS won and Lyrically Bis won their respective battles. Technically, Nelly and LL won tho. That's what happens when underground MCs battle commercial rappers.Mr. 66Hundred;1830823 said:from a young nigga witnessing that battle I new Canibus got in L's ass BUT LL won that battle not becuz he was the better rapper or becuz of sales, he won it becuz of tactics
when he made Bis rewrite his "1, 2, 3, 4" verse, then dissed him on the song
when he recorded those telephone conversations he had wit Bis
LL basically fucced Bis over in my opinion, it had nothin to do wit sales

Mr. 66Hundred;1830883 said:it was on the Beef dvd I can't remember which one
LL and Bis was on the phone talkin it out, I think it was before 2nd Round KO, mightve been after
Bis was real humble, LL was being a faggot
LL told Bis that they was gon do an underground song 2gether to squash the beef, but LL ended up jus pushin Bis to the side like he was his son
he basically told him "Lil homie I said I was gon do that lil tracc wit you when I get done handlin this bizness over here"
but I guess when Bis started to feel like LL was playin him to the left he jus decided to do him
