krs recognises after being inthis shit since 86 that some people are out for fame & some actually have a beef to settle.. again, maby i missed it but what got cannibitch'es panties inna wad in the first place?... or is this the point were we all admit that this hissy fit is but a last chance attempt at the fame [& infinitely more important (which i might add he said he wasn't in it for)... financial stability] that has incredibily (by, i'm sure... all streches of the imagination of more than a few posters here who'll remain nameless)] that has managed to illuded him thus far... has driven him to pick a fight with a hiphop elder over a difference of opinion on def jam?

or... could the most horrible thought lurking in the darkest corner of your mind be true..

that he's just testing the one MC whos been here the longest based on the sheer support of fan fair (like hiphop was meant to be) to attract the attention of ARs who been got his latest email & youtube link & DON'T GIVE A FUCK BECAUSE BATTLING DOESN'T PAY A RECORD COMPANIES LIGHT BILLS.

fuck a record company.canibis is the van gogh of hip hop .

nah it wasn’t Only Slaves D.R.E.A.M where he was dissing KRS, it was The Dragon Of Judah where he dissed KRS-One as well as Kriminal Kindess of course. In Dragon of Judah Canibus makes direct referrences to the Beef DVD interviews. in Kriminal Kindness Canibus also made referrences to recent KRS interviews where KRS talked about Def Jam and his philosophies.

Krs is a sellout he was respected but he says he has a rhyme that will kill any top ten billboard artist ,well my question is where are these rhymes?GO GET THEM THEN! That means he has a song that will kill eminems career since he is a top ten billboard artist,Where are these rhymes?GO GET THEM THEN!!!!!!!

IS CANIBUS GOING TO GET WHAT HE WAS ASKING FOR FROM KRS-ONE?
Do you remember this? On Canibus' latest CD, he rapped:

"How many emcees must get dissed, before somebody whispers don't f**k with Bis (this is a jacked lyric from one of KRS-One's old songs)/My Survival Skills surpass Kris, watch this / You got a rap for every emcee? GO GET IT THEN /Why you d*ck ride Def Jam, they not your friend / Make your mind up, I thought you was not with them / F***ing comedy, speaking on flawed philosophy / You'll never give props to Keith Or Canibus for Undergods release / Go right ahead, dismiss it / We ain't submissive, we spit lyrical lyrics / I got the right to live off it, I live it And I'mma voice my opinion, can't nobody make me think different / My spirit feels like it's in a prison / I speak on the music conspiracy but nobody wanna listen."

Soooooo....KRS-One is saying:

(AllHipHop News) Bronx Hip-Hop legend KRS-One has finished a new EP focused on calling out rappers that have questioned or challenged him over the last several years. Named Back to the L.A.B. (Lyrical Ass Beating), the EP features 6 tracks and as of press time no confirmed guest appearances.

KRS launched his career in 1987 on the strength of the now legendary Bridge Wars, a lyrical battle his BDP (Boogie Down Productions) camp initiated against Queensbridge pioneers Marley Marl and MC Shan, and their affiliates in the Juice Crew.

KRS also defeated legend Melle Mel in a live head to head battle at NY’s famous Latin Quarter nightclub that same year.

The following year in 1988, the Blastmaster would use the lyrics from that encounter for the official track “I’m Still #1,” off BDP’s sophomore LP By All Means Necessary.

You're right..I heard all about that EP...it's been a minute now. Maybe he decided he's gonna do a full-length album and go all out. I wonder who KRS got on his hit list besides 'Bis?

Edit: Come to think..I just did a few checks on that EP and it's out. Plus he got album called Meta-Historical with Wu Tang producer Tru Master.

I dig KRS, and for over two decades, KRS has come out with the sickest tracks, and he keeps releasing tracks like this apparently dedicated to those wack ass fak artists, but then he went on video to state, "Lil Wayne IS the best rapper alive." Really? Contridictory? I don't get it. I really don't and at one point in life, I knew Kris personally. Why Kris, why? One, Maka

@emceemaka Rapper as opposed to MC. Remember that KRS makes a clear distinction between the two.

stevewatto 1 month ago
@stevewatto Well then what's your problem with him saying that? Within the KRS' definition Lil Wayne was the best rapper. At least at the time

I want KRS to respond to Canibus

This song expresses exactly how I feel about most rappers today, KRS-One & Just-Ice made a dope duo back then & even today.

KRS got skills but bis will rip him a new one. Lyric for lyric pound 4 pound aint no one better than Bis.

"Canibus is the ultimate executioner's dream, Swingin the guillotine, cause whenever the head is severed from the human body with a sharp enough weapon the brain remains conscious for ten seconds, Long enough for me to give you one last message, And when you get to Hell you can tell Lucifer I said it"

Totally dope good here the gangstar teacher Just Ice back on the seen Krs 1, Canibus vs Krs 1 Krs 1 all day i say the Hip Hop teacher and he will teach Caibus the art of rapping all day, peace DJ Geebeats.

No disrespect to KRS One, but if theres a battle between him and Bis, I would go with Bis. I mean we're talking about someone who took on the whole of Wu on his own, KRS cant compete with that using his 80s rhyme schemes and flow

when the fuck did canibus take on the wu??

it was like 95 i think at a music convention in Atlanta it was a cipher with the Wu,Bis and Canibus' homie Webb who people say is just as nice as Bis.Legend has it a young Canibus stepped in to the cipher along with Webb and held his own.It was in that old XXL the one that had Canibus on one cover and R-Kelly on another.

This is how the krs-one nelly battle went..

Nelly dropped #1 and Krs-one dropped Clear them out.

Both sides said they weren't dissing. Krs-one even said he told nelly's lawyer he wasn't dissing him.

Both were hyped up by dj's and people on the internet.

Nelly feeling the pressure did the roc the mic thing.

Krs-one dropped ova

Nelly dropped a weak freestyle

Krs-one dropped you dont really wanted.

as for the bis diss, his dis didn't really do anything but come off salty.

The two points bis made was

A: why did you co-sign LL cool J

B: Why don't you like my new album.

If I was krs-one I wouldn't respond either.

no hits since the cordless mic invention

no one here even said ya name

youth on my side
you know that's a lie, right? how old are you??? and you really that impressed with those lines you posted? ok to each his own but at least the others admit they feel Nelly won based on sells. Some judge rap skills based on sells and some based on bars so it's whatever. But if you gonna point out those 3 lines from Nelly as telling the truth, then how you gonna ignore the full bars that KRS dropped that were 'truth'? makes no sense bruh
