The media. Do u notice when it's black guys it's "THE DOWN LOW EPIDEMIC!!!" But when all these white dudes (recenlty alotta high profile politicians and shit getting caught fuckin trannys and tappin on niggas feet in restrooms)...you don't never hear them talking bout a DL epidemic. One nigga, I think his name was like JL King or something came out with a book about his private gay life and all of a sudden every nigga on the DL and it's a epidemic lol smh.

b/c when white folks do negative shit its a tragic, isolated incident but when blacks do the same its a representation of all blacks

These bitch ass nigga's being raised by women is why. Ain't no pop's or uncle's around to show a nigga how to be a man because these nigga's bail as soon as they find out a bitch pregnant.

But faggorty ain't accepted in the black community accept for ATL, so what the fuck you talking about nigga?

somebody give this man a trophy. But its also the media's fault because the media exploits homosexuality with no shame. A Sign of the end coming real talk. Cant turn on tv without seeing some gay shit.smh

i remember back in the day, when the black community and the black churches wasnt about homosexuality now everywhere you go,you seeing fags hair pressed better than the women and shaped like women(shivering at the thought).Women dressed like dudes, and talking like one.Im saying where is the world coming to?now it seem to be more respected.why?this is a big problem

I wouldn't say they are more accepted in our community, but they may feel safer in our community. Ever notice how we don't gang up in cars and go out hunting for fags to beat up on to "prove our manliness" like our white counterparts do? Maybe we just don't have that need to beat the hell out of strangers like whites do to feel better about ourselves.

It's not more accepted by Black people imo. I actually think Black people have a harder time with it b/c more of our people are raised in the Church, are concerned with preserving strong Black families, and accepted western gender values.

This

Besides Atlanta, I don't know where black gays are welcomed with open arms

I'm still kind of new on here, & I swear, this thread is started every week, It's faaaaaaar from accepted in the black community, unless it's some DL confused guy, trying to hit on you on the low. Yea in some parts it might be more accepted, but that's with a lot of things. I am just blessed that MOST people accept me and my lifestyle, and realize that I have no control over who and or what I like.

this shit right here

Because they are secretly gay, I mean I don't think about vaginas & breasts all day, or other "straight male" things, because I'm not straight, or even curious, lol.

how is it accepted? By and large it's very frowned upon in most black communities, b/c most black communities are rooted in the church....

homosexuals aren't going anywhere, not mention what is the black community gonna do about it? Black Americans are becoming more understanding, though it's still heavily looked down by many in the black community
