Why is Doctors Advocate so hated

It was a solid album from top to bottom, and it had one of my favorite songs of all time, why you hate the game.

The whole album is solid as hell I can listen from start to finish without skipping any song.It just one of those albums people love to hate for some reason.For real its nearly classic IMO.

It's hated on for many reasons.

1. The excessive name dropping continues on. Niche or not, it's annoying as fuck.

2. Game's lackluster rhyming capabilities. I guess the name dropping makes up for it.

3. Repetitiveness.

4. The production which carried his debut album also carries this one even though it takes a step backwards.

5. His disturbing Dr Dre obsession....he should've named that bitch "An Ode to Dre".

6. The "Doctor's Advocate" track with Busta Rhymes playing the marriage counselor role while Game spills his heart over Dre shunning him. LMAO!!!

7. Getting outshined by every last one of his guest features. How is that humanly possible?

because, conceptually it sucks. after the third track the songs were all over the place. the game name drops way too much on his albums. biggin up people is cool, but i think there should be a limit.

Yeah really the thread title should have LAX instead of Doctor's Advocate niggas talkin bout it was too many features on LAX...WTF???? To me having that many features on an album shows how much clout you have in the rap game Game already proved he can make a good album without the big name stars

I fucc with Doctor's Advocate. that Why you hate the Game track was hard as hell. Overall it was like 7.5-8/10, pretty solid effort. Would receive a higher rating if he didn't namedrop so much, which really be annoying.

I think this is the most sensible post in the thread.

I like the album beside a few tracks. Never really liked the song with Daz and Kurupt and Game did sound a little too much like Dre on DA.

On LAX Game sounds like Nas on a few tracks too. I wondered if Nas was ghost writing for him
