That excuse that people will use is that it's because there is no brand extension.

The truth is though that the midcard right now is strong enough to sustain two titles especially now that there is only one world title. It's just that the booking for the midcard division is complete shit.

Only people thirsting after midcard titles right now are "midcard for life" ass niggas
