I'm not going to read all that, but GOAT!

I fucks with BISD.. That album falls off at the end, but there's hella gems on that album.

shit's what happens when you dont appeal to mainstream fans, you threw underground fans away with your second album and refuse to make good music in favor of doing the same thing thats been done bigger and better before.

its almost a parody album of what 50 cent was in grodt

Damn I'm listening to Curtis now and the only non-fire tracks are Come & Go, Fire and Peep Show. I remember when I copped that album September 11, 2007. Hopped in my car and played My Gun Go Off... shit had me so amp. 50 is undefeated with albums.

I remember I tried to sell bootleg copies of Curtis and Graduation to a girl at school when they first leaked. She didn't bite.

I was trying to hate on Kanye because I wanted 50 to win the sales battle but I ended up buying Graduation on the second day.

Curtis is a dope album, and Fire is a dope track imo

50's attitude outside the booth turned people away from BFISD. His anctics with Ross got sick and just like he does every 6 months talking about hes back niggas just don't want to hear it. Its more the perception of how played out he was being Floyds stan and really losing the beef to ross that affected how BFISD was taken. He really also got blackballed in a sense from the industry as well.

But i will say i give 50 props for his business hustle post 2nd album. Allot of rappers and industry cats considered legendary and GOATS in financial trouble would kill to have the cashflow 50 still has after being blackballed. This nigga not only got cash from the Vitamin Water Sell but then went on to stand out in the ever competitive energy drink market and shake mountain dew and 5 hr energy's market share.

He had no growth as an artist. He took the formula from GRODT and reused it on every album. People got tired of that, his constant beefing for buzz, and the industry kinda shifted from the hard street music that 50 was a part of, to more of the softer, emotional and understand phase it's in with Drake, Cudi, Wale, etc.

To put it into a metaphor, 50 was the restaurant and his music was the 4 course meal. The first meal, people thought was great and that the rest of the meal would be just as good. but they kept getting fed the same food for every course, except it was worse every time...

BISD is ill as fuck. I was listening to it at work the other day I hadnt listened to it in awhile. I forgot how dope it was. Its underrated cause people are sheep and once people werent checkin for 50 musically that was it for him. Crime Wave? Death To My Enemies? Ok, You're Right? Psycho? Got damn

Yo So Disrespectful is one of the hardest songs I ever heard in my life. His flow on that joint (especially the 2nd verse) was GOAT

It doesn't sound anything like his other albums though.

It has the exact same formula as The Massacre and GRODT. You can stack up all of 50s albums next to each other and they are built from the same blueprint. It's better than Curtis, but it's nothing special. And the singles were some of the worst foulness known to man.

And Jay-Z hasn't done the same thing for his whole career?

It has similar content to his other projects because he is what he is. A gangster rapper who makes hits. If anything, he should be applauded for not conforming and taking the soft route or trying to dickride another region's sound.

man I fucked wit this album heavy when it first dropped. to me its his second best behind grodt. pretty much every song on there is nice with the exception of a few fillers like get it hot. that shit is horrible
