you know what, all talk aside, when the enemy doesn't follow ROE, and don civilian gear, it is quite hard to distinguish who is who.hell i had to run down a woman in full garb cause she stopped in front of our convoy and i was lead vehicle...

Collateral damage is a nearly unavoidable result of armed conflicts. Even beyond accidental bombings and shootings, when you put enough guns in peoples hands and some of them will go apeshit. Until we have completely automated defense weaponry, its unavoidable.

What about forcing (even if indirectly) the world to become a democracy ? How many times you hear Americans talk down about communism / socialism as if democracy is the only form of government that should ever exist ?

Look, ain't nothing perfect in this world. Every nation and army has an agenda or must execute the agenda of another. Get pissed at bush and his overreaching foreign policies if anything. The American military's job is to execute the orders of the president and congress. If they did anything else I'd be seriously worried. Believe me, I don't agree with the Iraq war at all, but the sooner you start looking at the military as a well equipped and trained gang representing the USA the sooner you'll stop blaming them for other people's deas and orders. Besides, the military keeps my society alive, which I like cause it keeps me cakin. PERIOD.
