Why does it seem like women look down on manual labour / blue collar workers?

Idk. I make a lot more than many of my friends with office jobs and I'm the lowest paid on my crew. Sign holders get paid shit, but that's not really blue collar work, and it's dominated by women.

But you bring up an interesting point : is it just comfort? People don't like doing physical shit? Would make sense given the correlation with rising obesity

A lot of things boil down to laziness, one of the cardinal "sins", bad behaviors that plague mankind. Almost all problems come from one or more of those behaviors, and imo, stem from the root of ignorance.

I'm an electrician, I make more money than all of my friends who are college graduates, matter of fact most of their wages are decreasing while mine are constantly going up. Seriously the hardest part of my job is dealing with the elements/weather, it aint that physically demanding. I'll let that sink in for a second.

Be honest though how many times have we seen tv shows or read in magazines women talking about one of the requirements they have for a man pursuing them is that he have a degree and work a certain type of job making x amount of dollars?

For some dumb ass women its more about the title of the job than what that man is actually making. Too many people would PLAY the part than actually BE THE PART.

Its still women who would turn you down to fuck with your friends who have degrees and hollow job title and make less than you just for the illusion of them being in a better place than they actually are.

Like I said in another thread a bitch would rather brag on her man to her friends about the degrees and hollow job title he has but leave out all the debt he carrying from those degrees than to say she fucking with an electrician who makes just as much if not more than the man with the degrees without the school debt.

Funny thing is its niggas on this site who the same way. When talking about the woman they want they actually list her having a degree as something they looking for. Shit boggles my mind.
