He spit some truth about a lot of Korean shop owners in South Central Los Angeles. The same time the LA Riots started in 1992, a Korean lady killed a black girl over some orange juice and got off. That same month, a man in Long Beach shot a dog and got more time in jail then the Korean lady that killed LaTasha Harlins. The riots were more than about Rodney King. It was about a fucked up cycle in the hoods that reached it's boiling point.

Koreans would get the "loans" we couldnt and buy shops in our neighborhoods and treat us like shit. They really didnt speak the language, they was just there for the money. Setting up liquor stores in our hoods. During the riots, many of the BAD Koreans got burned out, but on the FLIP SIDE, if you were good the people in the community, they protected your store and didnt let it get looted or burned down. Chickens came home to roost. Cube was speaking on a South Central experience.

I've only visited LA once. Stayed with one of the homies peoples off 85th & Manchester. This was back in 2005. The homies Mom didn't want us stayin out in the front yard once it started gettin dark. I guess the 83's had some beef at the time.
