Why do some blacks feel that they can say dark-skinned blacks are unattractive

Physically, women can be just beautiful no matter what color, as long as they are healthy. Society tries to dictate to us that lighter skin = more attractive, but that's just typical white supremacy programming. I can't hate on beautiful women, whether black white or in between... And let's not pretend that there is a balance between preferences for light-skin on the one hand and preferences for dark-skin on the other, even if that were acceptable (which it is not). The preferences tilt to light-skin. Even some of the people who say they prefer "dark-skinned" people prefer no such thing. What is considered dark-skinned has been watered down. Blacks have basically already lost. And what makes it worse is that when folks are vocal about their white-supremacist tainted preferences it'll reinforce white supremacy and embolden whites to openly devalue dark-skinned blacks.

It's because of Capitalism & all it's socio-economic derivatives, that every American aspires to, since The Mayflower docked.
