Why Do So Many Blacks think that Black People Can't Be Racist towards whites?

No ones racism is more or less justified. I'm getting real tired of this self pity us black folks are starting to convey.

And if black people can't be racist because racism requires power, is it really true that black people have no power? Not at all. Black people have power in certain situations and contexts. For example, take an HBCU, where the administration is mostly if not wholly black. That's black power. So the only way that it can be maintained that blacks can't be racist because we don't have the power is if the power in question is taken to be society-wide power. But there is no good reason why that should be so.

I went to an HBCU. Speak of this power that is wielded by Black colleges over anyone or anything. The administration is ruled by the President of the college, who can't do shit without the colleges Board of Directors (Who, strangely, are mostly White). That example doesn't work

Uhhh, I'm pretty sure the board of directors for most HBCUs are white...

Come on b…so I'm looking in the wrong dictionaries? I need to go find a "Sociology Dictionary" ? Point me to 1

If I'm not misunderstanding y'all then what y'all are essentially saying is that every white person in the country has power over every black person in the country?

I don't know which HBCU you went to but I doubt most trustees of most schools are white. Here is Howard's board:

Anyway, other examples will serve the same purpose.

Just use another term: prejudiced, hateful, suspicious, whatever. We can be all that

But the definition of racism is set in stone and no level of newnigganess will change that. Black people cannot be "racist"

Easy. But...in b4 the 15 page thread

That's the thing tho…it's like Black people have their own special definition of racism…I can dig it tho but let's stop saying incorrect things

I'm not saying that Black prejudice against whites has nearly the same weight as white racism against blacks or is anywhere near as significant so please don't argue that with me…because that's not what I'm saying.

So what are you saying, exactly?? Your definitions say that people believe one group is better than another. You think Blacks as a whole think Whites are better than us?? Seriously?? Moreover, the definitions assume that their is an unfounded hate, that you see a certain race and go "fuck them". I think we can all agree that Blacks, Native Americans, Mexicans, etc have a real case to not fuck with Whites as a whole. If not hating someone that has enslaved, tried to eradicate, raped your people for generations and act like we're all equal is racist, sign me up as the president of the shit

And another thing. The president can do some things without the approval of the board of directors. The faculties and departments can do a whole lot without the approval of the board of directors. The professors and instructors can do a whole lot without the approval of the board of directors. And of course, the student body can exercise a whole lot of -- informal, if not formal -- power.

Black people have power in certain situations and contexts, just as I said.

Bruh…what in the blue hell are you talking about? Take a deep breath.

If I'm Black…and I believe that whites are an inferior race of people…then I'm a racist…by every definition of racism that I've ever seen.

Black Supremacy is a real ideology and it's racist…does it hold white people back the way White Supremacy holds everybody else back? Nah. Black people ruin our own credibility when we try to act like Blacks can't be racist towards white. Let's acknowledge that there are Black racists and then compare the damage to white racists and then tally it up.

Show me your definition of racism and where you get it from.

If anything, I'd say that the difference is that for the most part, our ( Black People's ) "racism" is a reactive, while Whites' is proactive.

We hate them because they hate us; But their hate is manufactured from within. Ours is more of a defense mechanism against theirs..

Like look at those Black Israelites that stand on the streets and yell at white people as they walk by. Those are Black Supremacists.

Black Supremacy is a philosophy that is under the umbrella and influence of White Supremacy. It is a direct result of White Supremacy.

Right wingers tend to say things like "Blacks are more racist than whites" and that's obviously false when most Blacks are interested in integrating with whites and gaining their acceptance.

It may not occur in the same way as it does with white people in this country, but one race can't be born racist while

Others are born without the capacity to be racist. its fairly lazy to to think that certain races are incapable of harboring racist views.

I don't see how anyone could make an argument that states any racial group is incapable of being a racist

Alright, I see what you're saying.

Racism is an industry, anybody who thinks in terms of race is a racist. Anyone who benefits from race statistics as a capitalist is a racist despite their personal feelings or relationships (ie Donald Sterling and his black mistress). Prejudice is a personal prejudgment of someones character based on your own flawed/unflawed perception. Prejudice built the house of racism.

It serves black people nothing to be prejudice about whites because our prejudgments don't limit them. Their prejudices about us and even those of ourselves do nothing but keep money out of our communities, keeps us in jail, keep us murdered, high, ignorant and gluttonous.

If you accept the role of the oppressed you are racist, if you accept the role of the oppressor you are racist, if you pity, empathize or categorize someone because of their race you are racist.
