Why do Joe Budden fans act like Pump It Up was some big Hit?

Just cos you like a Song doesn't mean it's a Hit just cos someone says they a Doctor doesn't mean they are a Doctor

If that was the case anyfan will call their fave Rappers Song a Hit even if it reached 99 on the Chart

I guess pump it up wasnt emotional enough as far as the lyrical content. The hook may have been catchy but it wasn't emotional enough. He wasn't singing enough either.

When i turn on the radio and hear the song in rotation, when i turn on tv and see the video getting some burn, and when i go to the club and the shit is payed more than once and the hoes are partying. guess what it's a hit regardless of what the charts say. so you just stick to your bullshit charts and ill stick to what folks around me are reacting and feeling music wise.

But can it be that hard to understand majority of people in the world don't like his Music? i can understand fully anger at people that dismiss a Rapper with out hearing his/her Albums first but logically how can you be mad at people that listened to his work and just happened to not like his Music at all?

Also in other genres well most genres atleast most fans put emphasis on what is being said in the Lyrics how moving, relatable, touching it is and the quality of the Production

On Hip Hop blogs so many put emphasis on just Rapping words that sound big even if it makes no sense what so ever and Flow it's like they been brainwashed to think that is dope of really important oppossed to Content, Message, Lyrics, personal story, Beats and Hooks

But ourtside the Internet Hip Hop fans aren't the same most will realize and appreciate the Subject Matter, Lyrical Content, quality of Production, story, message in a Song oppossed to the Flow or anything that isn't important like bloggers care so much about

My only issue is people saying false things like Em grew up in a Trailor or Em made a 100 Songs about his mother but if someone has heard his Albums and isn't a fan of what they heard i have no problem with that at all it's just the lies and false things people say about Trailor parks i have an issue with
