Ion kno bout that fam Kast, Goodie, Bun, and J. Cole get shown plenty of love...

You damn near cant even lump Cole in as a southern rapper ( his fanbase leans toward the mainstream)......and Kast, Goodie, and Bun are legends in their home states but greatly unappreciated by the majority of modern southern rap fans.

thats not what most of the Southern posters say, especially two years ago when people still thought he was from New York

Southerners don't support "lyrical" southerners, though...?

Just watchin Espn haha. The other conferences hatin on the SEC. Saban said success breeds "anamosity". (envy, obsession, frustration, etc. ) Look at this thread for proof. The South on your mind. Thanks for playing and giving your undivided attention. The support of all the other regions has helped too. And yes it feels great to be a Southerner. (no dis to anybody else out there). Peace.

yet KRIT flopped spectacularly

Where was his hit single for the album?...Where was his small tour with sold out shows on the regional circuit?...Where was his viral/vlog game?...Nigga still make amazing music, and nobody down here would deny that...But he has those kinks to work out this time around...If he wants to sell more records...

Outkast, Goodie Mob, and Bun B came from the era when you had to be good on the mic. J Cole blew up despite y'all trying y'all best to make him Little Brother status.

In the last 10 years, Here are the winners:

Rappers = South/Midwest

Beats = South hands down

Hooks = South/West tie

Swag = South/West tie

Hatin'= New York

Can anybody really argue with this list.. Soundscan, Big Boy's Neighborhood and the Breakfast Club can prove it so think before you respond.
