I have lived in Atl for the last 15 years. I am northern transplant. Have I adopted certain local slang? Of course I have it helps to speak or at least understand the people you live around. But imitating some of the worse uneducated English I have ever heard would be totally counterproductive. I have an 11 and 12 year. I am always on them about the poor English and disgusting twang they pick up from school mates. My kids are southerns. My wife and I are northerners and it's quite interesting how we all joke about the differences that we have, having grown up in different parts of the country.

You are telling lies. The south is given props quite often. It's southerns that want props for having contributed the least to Hip Hop. As compared to the east coast and west coast the south doesn't come close. If, we are having a conversation about HBCU's, Civil Rights and our ancestry then I would agree with you. The south has contributed just as much if not more then any other parts of the country.

I can't respect something and then turn around and say it's good. That's called being confused. Considering I think Juelz is garbage as well, I really don't care who he has on his records. But nowadays because, some one appears on record doesn't mean they are talented or even good. Taking an educated guess. Juelz is simply going with the formula and who's is being given the green light to get backing and spins. At this point in the game it's southern artists and southern based record labels.
