(some) blacks care if (some) blacks sag their pants simply because people want to tell other people how they should live their lives. apparently if one person chooses to sag, then that is somehow detrimental to the next man's life?

it really isn't a race issue though (nevermind the stupid black people who say "it makes us look bad"). it's more of a generational and/or cultural beef. if it's a race issue, then it's mostly between whites and blacks. whites flip out when they see sagging. it's quite hilarious. expelling students for sagging? is it really that serious people?

i never sagged simply because it's not my style. but i don't mind others doing it. i let others do them. looks stupid to me when the sagging is taken to an extreme. if it gets to indecent exposure level, then it's a problem. if not, who the fuck cares? free country.

oh and that "sagging comes from "gay" prison culture" is bullshit to me. if it does come from prison culture, the claim that it comes from inmates unintentionally sagging because they were deprived of belts (to avoid suicides) sounds much more credible to me.

I agree with your last two points...

1. I don't need/want to see any man's ass/underwear either. I also don't need/want to see any teenagers having kids. But I/you can't always get what I/you want in life, especially since other people do have lives and choices (bad and/or good) of their own to make. Bottom line imo is that it's really not that big of a deal. Nobody is commiting a crime, unless, like I said before, it borders on indecent exposure.

2a. I don't know. I still think that there is an older vs. younger age group beef going on here. And I still think that there is a mainstream vs. "hood/street" culture (not necessarily hip hop culture but rather a smaller culture within hip hop culture) beef going on as well. And I've witnessed both.

2b. I guess that we see the nature of school differently. I see school's definitive purpose as solely a means of education. Everything else is meh. I don't think that schools should tell you how to dress unless they're private schools. Sounds like assimilation/white-washing to me. Mainstream society is overrated anyway. You know that mainstream society also disapproves of afros, tattoos, slang, profanity, etc. Again, petty shit to me. *shrugs*
