I joined in 02 cause I was working a tech support center and was hella bored. Stumbled across the IC off a link on an RnB site and it was alot different than it is now...way more females.

Honestly I think IG, Twitter, and Snapchat have killed the message board game for alot of females.

you might be onto something

why come to the IC and get shitted on and ran off when you can stay on social media and have dudes double tap yo pic b/c they thirsty

Lol...she beybey?

i dont think she is...the OG beybey NEVER would post a pic of her face. All she had floating was some thigh pics with her SN and the date. She would always cam up in TC but never showed her face, just talked on the mic and at that time, she was fresh outta high school

This should be her sophmore year in college.

@AP21

You say Ashy here is a create a ic chick with attributes and mannerisms of past IC girls???

idk...and honestly dont care...i just think its so eerie that out of ALL the names she couldve chosen for a screen name, she chose ayebaebae.

UNLESS...she was underage when she originally posted here

weebay.gif

but the old beybey was from Chicago if im not mistaken

I joined by discovery per say. I've been a member of AHH since Feb '08 the IC was under construction at that time and I just use to check the articles & new music section (while it was still good) When maintenance was done on the IC itself I started posting in Oct '08.

If I would have known of the IC in '02 I probably wouldn't survived on here very long because from the stories that have been told on here of the early IC years dudes was ruthless. More females back then? I would have to been here to believe it but then again when I joined in '08 there were actually more females actually posting then, than now.

I think IG, Twitter, & SC just killed the msgboard game in general just about. I really didn't start going on the net until '02 back then there was blackplanet, myspace, yahoo IM, etc., then I saw about '08-09 twitter started taking over, IG was exclusive like FB was but became mainstream later on then Snapchat just started. So basically those things are almost a death blow to the msgboards. For me, IG has gotten boring & Twitter is just a place for ignorance or breeds it.

LOL same gifs, same humor, same avi at one point, similar name, same posting style, already knowing shit a new person shouldn't be knowing annnnnnnd lightskindided.

Anyway, I been on this site before these forums were created. I was just starting high school and back in this time niggas couldn't afford no damn computers. You either used one at your rich white friends house. Or went to the library and hoped no white folks were there hogging the mothafuckas. I used to post from my school library's computer right before school started. I like hip hop so I be looking for hip hop shit online. I used to look up video game tips, short porn clips, and hip hop. I was on SOHH(first hip hop site online), that site started getting hella commercial so I kinda stopped fucking with it. A mod or admin from there bounced and created this site. I used to post in the music section and the rumors section on the front page. It was ran by illseed, the only nigga reporting online about hip hop/urban shit back in the day. Everybody was there, but a few years later they created the forums. Everybody started vanishing from the front page to the forums, I soon followed.

LOL the forums were g.o.a.t back then. My only issue was the east coast ruled this site with an iron fist. The mods and admins were all some bias ass east coast niggas. They used to stay shitting on the south and hate hella hard on the west. Shit was like the online version of the source magazine.

Something y'all might not know. The man who created worldstar hip hop used to work with this site.
