Why did they censor "white man get paid off of all of that" on "All falls down"?

For the same reason they black balled Styles P "Im Black" and dropped Nas's Untitled with little to no Promo....

Same reason why they censored the parts about killin cops on 50 Cent's Man Down but didn't censor the parts about killin niggas.

I agree, words shouldn't hurt, but that has to be the dumbest, lopsided comparison I've ever heard. I really don't think when Kanye penned that line he was thinking "this is for Emett Till". It's not that deep, stop digging. This song was more than likely censored by a black label head who thought it would offend Kanye's biggest group of consumers, white people. Artists stand up for their lyrics, unless there's the potential to lose money. To me, if they're going to censor any mention of race, then it should be a uniform censorship, meaning all mention of race period should be banned. I think that's ridiculous, but it is fair. What offends some doesn't necessarily offend all. One of my favorite songs is "Hip Hop" by Dead Prez. I've heard this song on the radio before with the word "crackas" blurred out and I've heard it without being censorred. As a white person, I'm offended to hear the word omitted. I think it's the best line in the whole song ("I'm down to run up on these crackas in they city hall"). In my experience, that line is very true. In my city, Birmingham, Alabama, the population is about 80-85% black, but you go up in the Jefferson County courthouse, the majority of the judges, d.a.'s, lawyers, sheriffs, etc. are white and more times than not, textbook crackers. And almost none of these "crackas" live in the city limits. Now if someone from out of town asks them where they live, they're from Birmingham. But in actuality, they live in Mtn. Brook or Vestavia or some other rich suburb of Birmingham. To me, if a you get that emotional or offended over a song, you should probablly stick to instrumentals or no music at all. As usual, if it bothers you that much, change the channel/station and don't buy the album. Problem solved.

If it was about money Kanye would've just remixed the song and changed the words like artists normally do when they "clean" up their tracks for radio/television.
