Its ironic you magically make this thread after the latest thread about big sean and how his songs aren't on the hip hop charts either. Like big sean j cole has to prove his consistency on album tracks.

Big Seans Album was decent and his Detroit Mixtape was good

i agree about deriot that was a dope mixtape but his album was subpar compaired to his previous work. plus his personal performance in his album was terrible. He need a dream team of artists (who were hot at time of release) to save him on nearly every song.

Now big sean says he didn't have control and everything okay thats fine...but all summer he claims he has more control and Detriot was an example of that control even better. Flash forward to the actual album single Guap and that shit was a poor mans version of mula. now the album is pushed back.

Oh well i definitley enjoyed BIg Seans Album more than Cole World

you mean the finally famous the compilation album

Currently, Miss America peaked at #34 on the Hip-Hop/R&B charts..

I wouldn't say that's a "flop", it's just not a mega-hit..

Either way, I don't really give a fuck. I fuck with that song regardless..

Obviously talking about the official hot 100 Billboard Chart which is the 1 that matters

Obviously huh?.. earlier you said Brenda's Got A Baby was as big of a success as Not Afraid by Eminem.. LOL GTFOH. Don't try to troll me..

Edit: all the charts matter.

No i didn't i said they were all Hits on the Billboard Chart but some had reached number 1 even. But all of them made an impact peaked on the Billboard Chart never said they were all as succesful as each other just that they were all Hits that were deep, uplifting Singles

LOL WTF

You said Brenda's Got A Baby was a huge hit, but that song didn't even chart on Billboard's Hot 100.. and according to you, the "official hot 100 Billboard Chart" is the only chart that matters..

Either way i still named plenty of Songs that were huge Hits but empowerring, uplifting Singles so J Cole stans can't use that excuse when there is so many Singles that were uplifting that were Hits

Would be biased to call Big Seans Album a compilation when plenty of other Rappers have countless RnB features on their Hooks for their Albums like Jay Z, Rick Ross, Nas, 2pac etc so if you calling out Big Sean for it you gotta call out these other Rappers too

kanye had more verses on marvin gaye and chardonnay than big sean lol its not just having a feature on the hook. the majority of the songs have over half the song being features verses or hooks.

Shoutout to the boy seanteam aka dayday's big brother. I know its hard for you living in the D while dayday is in H town. Stay strong though, the bond you guys share over sean's music will keep you guys close

fuck all this flop or not shit either you liked the track or you didn't.. none of us work at these labels. workout wasn't flop but the song is garbage. that's just how it goes sometimes. Niggas trying to analyze and break shit done like you know what is and isn'g gonna be a hit based on your musical acumen. i liked the track

I think on the low (at least in my case) people wanna see J Cole do good and make better decisions musically. Dude has a lot of talent, and is great for hip hop, especially in this current state, It would be a shame if he fades into obscurity simply cuz of poor single choices.

True and I want to dude to do well also but all I can do is like or dislike the song. I can't effect other folks like or dislike for the song and if they gonna purchase the single or not. so I'm just trying to say at the end of the day to me it's all about the quality of the music. No doubt sales and radio play matter to the artists and it's something that his fan base should be aware of b/c they want him to succeed. It's just that at times we make how well the single did the end all be all of everything. When it's really hard to gauge at times what will and won't be successful and get radio play.

Roc-Nation will force J. Cole make another record appealing to woman. He's good at that.

lol i would never have thought i would see the day your more concerned about j coles future than usmarine. downing j cole for no reason ain't gunna make big sean stop crying and or release a quality studio album without super friends taking over every track.

Who's concern? I'm just pointing out that his single is flopping.

lol magcially pointing it minutes after a thread formed this afternoon about big sean crying and a post in that thread spining it of course by bringing up j cole. But again tell me how this thread isn't propaganda from a big sean groupie hahaha.
