That's the thing Cole can't do for himself. I remember reading online a while back that J Cole had ZERO involvement in the WTT creative process........even if he's not on the album that woulda been Good for him. I'm sure Wale and Meek get to sit in on GFID recording sessions all the time. Its sad but J Cole prob didn't hear Otis until we did.

But why would j cole be in on that creative process to begin with if he's not on the album. what is a rookie gonna bring to jay and ye? And sitting in doesn't mean Wale and Meek are involved. Wale meek along with J cole need to be all working on their own projects making sure they don't end up on a milk carton. all these dudes need to stand on their own 2 if they want to be successful. I'm just saying making good music and a good album will blow out a cosign.

Would you rather a Mr. Hudson feat and a wack lugar beat or J Cole feat? I'm not hating I'm diagnosing........J Cole needs help to push this album in Sept. A WTT feat would've required little to no effort from Jay. Why will Ross help the lil nigga but Jay wont?

roc nation is a fucking MANAGEMENT company...

i dont understand why people keep making it seem like rocnation is this big family in the same sense that the ROC was..

You would think these fools would notice that looking at their roster (pop acts, writers, and producers). Jay E and J Cole are the only two rappers on the roster.

Why does anybody name themselves after anything?

Tell me, from a musical standpoint, what was wack about it? The 808's, the synthesizers, the hi-hats, the opera sampling, the horns, the strings, the chord progression, the melody? What?

Roc Nation ain't a family like MMG though...I think Cole and Cyhi should be on WTT though. Just word of a Cole feature on WTT would build some buzz for his album.

Cole World 9/27

Glad somebody understands where I'm going with this. Niggas keep bringing up BP3 like Cole actual had a real release date then. The embarrassment of Work Out could be forgotten by a hot verse on what maybe the highest selling album of 2011. J Cole could use the buzz, Jay wouldn't really have to go out of his way at all to make any of this happen.

Why is Jay Z ignoring J Cole?

Huh? It's the same beat Rick Ross makes a new song to every other day

Ummm...ok, i never said Roc Nation wasn't a MANAGEMENT company, or that they should be a 'family' like Roc-a-fella or MMG.

All of it. You can tell kanye touched it and overproduced it. That opera singing at the end is almost worst than hearing Jay say Ham.

I doubt that Jay is ignoring Cole, he could be pulling a lot of strings behind the scenes, plus it seems that Cole would rather handle his career with minimal help from Jay-Z. But you do have some good points, visible assistance from Jay would help his buzz.

I'll just go ahead and say it, sense only I have the authority to do so. Your opinion is false.

My only gripe with the production is the way the beat just cuts off and the singing starts.

Just tell me this, if there was no opera singing in the song period, would you still say it was wack?
