You talkin bout PSD? Not a group though and 40 definitely didn't take his style from him.

But side note, PSD got caught wit 6000 thizzles at the Sacramento Airport in 08 I never heard of a result on his case so i dunno how much time he got though.

Id also have to add Big Pun, whos style was a variation of Kool G Rap. But Pun took it to another level("Capital Punishment" from the album Capital Punishment showcases that) And you definitely cant forget about 2PAC("And all my childhood memorieeees, was full of all the sweet things you did for meeeeeee). I gotta give props to Kendrick Lamar as well for being original in the midst of all this bullshit nowadays.
