Who's the better artist to you 3K or Black Thought

The better artist? Dre not only raps he sings, produces, etc. He's a great artist. He's on a whole different level from Black thought as far as being an all around artist. He's in his own realm. Im more familiar to his work not saying Bt isnt a great rapper but all around artist Dre obviously does more diverse things at a ridiculous level. I wont bother to vote because These type polls go the opposite way than most people would think a lot. Goes with the whole "opposite world" theme on here.

The OP only stated rap criteria, so I guess the BT voters (self included) have a case. But on an artist level, it's not even close. Stacks is proficient in like 4 instruments or some shit. And he made Love Below. Love Below *Dave Chappelle voice*.

Tough one, I learned a lot about Black Thought while the Roots have been on Late Night. I always knew he could spit, but that whole group is versatile. Shit is just natural to them.

Dre, Ceelo and the Roots them niggas musical repertoire is second to none.

First off, just because someone does other things doesn't automatically equate to them being a better artist. You say Andre sings and produces, and an easy counter is, he doesn't sing or produce well enough for us to recognize him as a threat in those categories. Now what are we left with? MCing, and when you're talking about real rap, it's no secret Black Thought gets busy.

But you can even ignore what I just typed, because the context is obviously declared by the person who created this thread, and the OP states the following:

I think I get your point. The threadstarter laid out criteria. Im not really an in the box type. Thats one of the reasons I didnt vote. I just go off of music I dont categorize "flow" and whatnot and break everything up. Im just not that type of music listener. I like the song or I dont.

And Im not saying anybody is wrong just that its easy to make a case for 3000 being the vastly greater artist from an objective standpoint. I dont limit music so Im just talking in general. But Im cool with people thinking Black Thought is the better artist I dont have any reason to really have a problem with him. honestly Im way more familiar with 3000s work which definitely sways it.
