The one that comes off the top of my head is haley joel osment (spelling), the kid from the 6th sense. I think he caught a drug habit or something, kid had promise. I didn't think Jonah Hill, on the opposite end of the question would have done anything, but he's come some way. that get him to he greek movie he's in looks like it's a hit

Haley Joel Osment started doing voiceovers, hit it big with Kingdom Hearts so I think he's relaxing with that. I don't think Jonah Hill is funny at all. He reminds me of redhaired Jack Black.

But for the list:

Males

Clive Owen - I thought his career was supposed to take off, but it really hasn't in the least. He was cool in Sin City, didn't like the International, and Shoot Em Up passed the time.

Seann Patrick Thomas - The black dude from Barbershop, Cruel Intentions and Save the Last Dance. I haven't seen him do much of anything in the longest while.

Michael Jai White - Yeah, I know he's been in Why Did I Get Married and the sequel, but I thought dude was going to be a huge action star or something along those lines. Sure Spawn sucked, but Exit Wounds wasn't bad.

Females

Julianne Moore - Seems she's everywhere, yet nowhere. The draw to her isn't huge at all, the Forgotten was sick, but I saw it for the movie, not for her.

Meagan Good - I know she's eye candy, but she should want better for herself and do more than she's done. Being the nerd's object of affection, or the girlfriend to a main character, to being killed in the first few minutes of a horror movie doesn't do her justice.

Kimberly Elise - She's been around so many good actors and actresses, including Oprah of all people, and has yet to blow up?? Not for nothing, but once you're around Oprah, everything you do should be gold (Precious).

My thing is, Hollywood is paying you millions to show up, put on a great performance and help sell this movie.

There are so many acting coaches out there, so many ways to step up your acting, yet these two don't. Like a waste of an opportunity.

Julianne Moore's been in sick films like Magnolia, Boogie Nights and Children Of Men though. She might sometimes choose to do smaller roles or films outside of Hollywood or the mainstream but she's mostly quality over quantity and just generally doing what she enjoys. Everyone already knows how good an actor she is, I mean she even won some Italian Film Award recently for Best Supporting Actress in A Single Man plus she was nominated for a Golden Globe last year for it as well so everyone knows where she's at.

Clive Owen's career seems fine from where I am as well, couldn't say either of them haven't gone anywhere even if they've done films recently that haven't made big numbers.

I'm going to say Naomie Harris, not because I think she's necessarily gone nowhere but that she should be far far bigger then she currently is. I think Danny Boyle (the bloke who directed Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, Slumdog Millionaire, etc.) said it best about her, how she should be a star of Kate Winslet magnitude but wasn't sure if Britain or Hollywood was ready to raise her up to that sort of level. All I can say is she fucking deserves to. I mean she's already been in the last two Pirates of The Caribbean films and Miami Vice which should have led on to more Hollywood stuff for fuck's sake and she's proven herself in countless dramas like Blood and Oil and Small Island. I'm hoping one day she does get the credit she deserves because she is a talent

You can also add every other black actor and actress out there who isn't Denzel, Will Smith, Samuel L Jackson, Halle Berry or Zoe Saldana

Norm MacDonald the most underrated SNL cast member of all time - that dude was hilarious. his only real movie was Dirty Work which was completely hysterical and since then was fired from SNL and only shows up in random cameo appearances.
