I think they have a double standard against Texas cuz other mcs from outside of Texas drop a couple singles and they get considered mainstream even if they wasn't consistant.

Texas artist drop radio/tv singles and still get called regional ...

Who? What Mc's?

You brought up two dudes that's the epitome of local/regional legend status. There ain't no double standard, I can't name a Z-Ro record that got any serious play nation wide that was his own song and Trae's biggest record, as far as mainstream is concerned, was probably that I'm On and he was the 2nd to last most known nigga on that track, ahead of Gudda Gudda.

If it's on BET,Revolt or whatever the track has exposure

Tired feat. Mya made it to BET

Anything affiliated with Rap-A-Lot has exposure

but it's like if they from somewhere other then Texas they are more excepted as national like

Yukmouth

Yall in denial of the extent of Texas national exposure
