Yin and yang....they don't sound as good solo as they do together. Pimp was the brains and "swag" of the group and Bun was the rappin ass nigga in the group. Pimp produced everything and sung on most of the hooks....bun just had to rap and he did that pretty well.....they compliment each other...

Pimp C. Bun B was the better rapper but was not as marketable as Pimp C would have been. Plus Pimp C was a producer so he could have been a double threat. Pimp C makes you more money and saves you money, so Pimp is the better sign.

Pimp was that producer who would hook you up if you had real shit to spit even if you were dead broke. He like E-40 where he helped local talent get play no matter how much buzz you got. Bun the better spitta but Pimp the ambassador to the trap.

I'd sign Pimp C. Not to talk down on Bun. But Pimp was the one to push some of their major moves. And even if Pimp didn't rap, he knew how to compose. And even though I'd sign Pimp, he'd would of brought Bun along with him anyway. But Bun is the better rapper and safer choice from a label stand point. Pimp is probably what they'd call high risk.
