What I'm talking about is put Moss numbers up when they play each other. Say Moss got Revis today with 2 catches, 38 yds and 1 td. Look at the 2 games last year and beyond for Moss since Revis been in the league:

'09 - 4 rec, 24 yds........5 rec, 34 yds, 1 td

'08 - 2 rec, 22 yds........3 rec, 26 yds, 1 td (td wasn't on Revis)

'07 - 9 rec, 183 yds, 1 td (over 3 Jets, but none were Revis).........5 rec, 79 yds

2007 was cool, but that was Revis rookie year. I'm not even sure how much he covered Moss, besides from knowing he wasn't covering him on the td. Since then, 08-10 Moss numbers against the Jets haven't been too impressive.

We all know Moss is going to the hall, but he hasn;t been playing Revis for 13 years. We're not comparing their careers, but their head-to-head match ups. Revis/Jets have been giving it to Moss for the most part since Revis was drafted.

I know Revis wasn't checking Moss in '07. Not sure about '08. But '09 Revis was pretty much man single coverage most of the game.

Doesn't matter who was throwing to Moss or the condition of the QB, fact is that Moss got shut down. Wes Welker manage to benefit from Brady despite him coming back from an injury. No excuses for either player
