Yeah that last scene with Randy was deep. The streets really ruined that kids life. The whole system fucked him over.

My favorite Characters were Avon, Marlo and Bodie.

Avon because of how practical he was. He was like a throwback gangster. He didn't try to be anything he wasn't. He looked out for his people the best he could and he ran his operations as smoothly as possible. He looks like a guy that truly enjoyed the lifestyle and grew up wanting to be a gangster.

What I liked about Marlo was his cold psychotic nature. He was like the ghetto Mr. Freeze. Something was wrong with him, something made his character that way. As to where Avon was a natural there was something un natural about Marlo's caracter....like maybe before he had the scar on his face he was a different kinda cat....(i know the scar is real, just sayin)

Bodie because he was your average nigga that gets down for his bread. He's the guy who got some fly gear, fly kicks, drives a civic with nice rims, lives with his moms, pops, grandma, auntie or something like that, got a baby by a hoodrat, a lil bit of bead in his pocket not too much ya know.

We prob got a bodie or two on this site. For sure you have a few Bodies & Poot(his homeboy?) in your neighborhood.

Man...I fucking hated Marlo. I still can't believe there could be a nigga like him in the streets and still walking around alive and well.

Its like all of sudden, Avon forgot Brother Mourzone's number.

Kimi. She got big nipples too

proof ?

As for thread, Stringer was my favorite character. I respected what he was trying to do even if I didn't agree with some of his means. You can tell some niggas missed the point of some of these scenes. Stringer wasn't a smart businessman ? He gave up half of his real estate in season 2 and doubled the profits. Yeah he got screwed over by Clay Davis but he was trying to cross over into legit businesses and just didn't know how to properly.String had dreams and goals. He was using the street shit as a means to an end. It was Stringer who came up with the co op idea. Then yall talking about him setting Avon up to do years, Avon set String up to die.

I also like Namond because i could sympathize with him. Unlike some i saw how he was being forced to live up to a reputation he wasn't built for. He was a kid and thats all he wanted to be deep down. Thats what i always got from the x box scenes at the end where he just turn on the game to escape

Then all some of ya got from the Bodie scene was him snitching but you missed the message in that shit.

Niggas gotta need to grow up and rewatch these scenes

Nah. String wasnt as smart as he thought he was. He knew how to make the money but he always ignored the consequences

What consequences tho ?

The main thing that stood in his way was him and Avon's differing opinions of how to business

Dope money doesnt mix with street money..

The consquences was bumping heads with his bestfriend and ultimately losing his life..

He knew better and if he wanted out he should have gotten out of the dope game..

Very good points....

People forget that Namond was 13-14 with his mom forcing him to live up to his dad. A lot of pressure for a 8th grader.

Good point about Stringer. People forget that Avon and Stringer were BOTH double crossing each other. Stringer actually died lol. Avon chillin in Jail and will get out eventually. If you criticize String for moving behind Avon's back, you should criticize Avon for catching feelings about Stringer murdering DeAngelo. It was business, it had to be done and DeAngelo was lookin like he was gonna bring down the whole operation.

The Marlo shit was so unreal.....somebody would've murdered that heartless bastard in real life. I know its niggas like that in the game but, rarely do niggas completely fuck everyone over in a heartless, cold, ruthless manner and walk away unscathed...

And that's just the half of it. In real life, the Feds aren't as nearly as disinterested in multi-million dollar drug empires. Shit, the real life Avon Barksdale was taken down by a joint FBI/BPD investigation that was initiated by the Feds. LOL @ them apparently having no interest in Stringer Bell's millions of dollars of tax evasion. Obviously this was a plot device to keep the focus local, but still.
