i'm not talking bout who had

the best album,

who sold the most

who had the best song

but lyrically,
who was spitting the best this year.

I read it^^^, did you?

Did you read it is the question? You keep quoting A MIXTAPE. Not several songs. But ONE Mixtape. Are you serious? I get it you are on the promotical team. I would think you would try to sell the product better but I guess thats a RocNation thing. *shrugs*

You seem a bit slow.........I quote the mixtape cause J.Cole is spiitin on it and his actual lyrical content is better on this mixtape than anyone else's lyrical content this year IMO.

Why are you having a hard time understanding this......??

Kanye by far, all them other niggas yall are naming don't even put out music or if they do it has no impact. Dude did that GOOD Friday shit all them other niggas jumped on his dick and tried to do the same shit (Timbaland, Swizz, Lloyd Banks, etc) and not to mention all the producers and artist he breath life into as far as recognition in the mainstream (Pete Rock, Big Sean, etc).

Oh yeah he just dropped an amazing album!

J Cole spitting better than Ye? Hell fuck no. Stop being on that bias shit! Real is real. Honorable mentions include Pusha T "Runaway", Nikki "Power",Wayne"hes got so many styles he is a group"WOW!!, and Rozay

So you choose Pusha, Nicki, Wezzy and Rozay?

I can debate over Pusha but J. Coles verse on Looking fo Trouble bodies Pusha's verse on Runaway.

The rest i'm just Laughing My Arse Off @

Stanley cut the crap. I suggested Ye with some honorable mentions like Pusha T and a few others so I might be slow because I have a hard time understanding "Dumb Nigga". Negro I can comprehend but dumb nigga has always been hard because dumb niggas dont listen and when asked a question I get this shit. SMH

Thanks for bringing that up. I have plenty of Pusha T songs to choose from for 2010 not just ONE mixtape so we can go song for song and see who wins out?

This is more like it........We can go tune for tune if you want but and the end of the day my opinion and yours will probably differ. I would say personally that Ye and Pusha would more than likely be my second and third choices. But for me Cole just tips the balance based on how he blends his flow with content. That's a personal preference.

I never once said that my opinion was right or that you or anybody else have to agree........*shrugs*

You sir are alright with me. But J Cole is still not on that level to me yet. But you have your opinion and I have mine.

I thought the question asked the best mc, not the best lyricist?

But to answer your point i would say J Cole, i bet a mf can't find me one wack verse from him. From Just Begun, Mirror remix, his mixtape, all i want is you, looking for trouble, etc.

Pusha was suprisingly good this year and it was the first for hearing him wid out Malice. And to let you in on a secret I have over done Kanye for while and am currently take a much needed rest from his album. I dont wanna get negative about it. If ya feel me. lol

I understand that. Had that Ye for about a month. I am trying to get another site though since the fizz closed down my free album store on the web so I can get some new stuff. Thinking about breaking down and go buy Redmans newest though.

hmm

I'd say some contestants should be:

(No Order)

Lupe Fiasco

Pusha-T

Kanye West

Joe Budden

Talib Kweli

J.Cole

Rick Ross

Joell Ortiz

Black Thought

this list seems about right.. i'd throw lloyd banks and jay electronica in there too. and maybe take kanye off.

these niggas r just hatein on j. cole.. idk why they callin u a stan for sayin he had the best year. whats the big deal if u think someone had the best year? niggas r just on Ye n Weezys dick. when kanye is out here rhyming the word "WOWZERS" and wayne been locked up the whole year. if i had to narrow my list down i would definitly say J. Cole and Talib Kweli had the best years. everything they put out was high quality.also id throw ross in the top 3 because he isdefinitly steppin up his wordplay and his creativness. he improved alot this year. and i barely like rick ross but i'll admit when he's gettin off.and Pusha T i'll give him props. who wouldve thought he could stand alone without malice after being in the group his whole career. thats my top 4 rappers of the year. no bias at all.
