thats tough..i think TLC gets the nod because they really didnt go anywhere or take too much time off..even when they didnt have an album out you still saw them unlike SWV and En Vogue..

I'm partial to SWV, but TLC probably has this if we're talking popularity.

I love all those groups..the ladies had a strong presence in the 90s.

LOL!!! Oakland's finest En vogue shits all over everybody on there. I guess you niggas done forgot so let me remind you.

T.L.C and S.W.V are tied at two.

Eh...I like En Vogue but they're not beating out SWV imo.

Free Your Mind is one of the top anthems of the decade though.

Exactly, Sistas with voices don't have any of those now do they? The only ones who can even reach that was t.l.c's waterfalls. Also, this better than "no scrubs"

Now this is how you make a male bashing song lol. This is how you make a male bashing song without looking like a bird. None of the others pulled this off and still kept it classy. Plus none of the others can sang better.

Terry is from Houston...

I can't see what TLC song you posted @7_rolls_royce

SWV has plenty of classic songs, just because they wouldn't be classified as an anthem doesn't take away from their greatness.

Weak and Right Here (Human Nature remix of course) are enough to put them on top for me.

SMH @ these whippersnappers

SWV made too many ho anthems

TLC made too many pop/rap songs that kind of took them out of the R&B category a lot of times

En Vogue set the standard for female groups in the 90s

If we talking hits I'd have to go with TLC, but vocally even before seeing the pole I was thinking about En Vogue. It all depends on which criteria you go with. Brownstone gets a honorable mention BTW...
