It's hard to even go back to a place of not knowing, but to remember what it was like, the 4th Episode of the 1st Season, and that reveal that he was in a Wheel Chair before he got to the island, and then the Shot of his Face looking at the Plane burning and his Wheel Chair just sitting there, and him smiling...

Still the best moment the show ever had.
