yea it is a good balance...the place is alot more level headed than it used to be, and way more level headed compared to other sites i'm 32

What up King. I was sonof1973, I always dug your posts. I'm up there but I listen to everything and my son keeps me current. I think we can give younger\ people the background on where concepts in rap originated and clarify a lot of myths and revisionist ideas. At the same time, young posters keep old heads on point if we get too biased on that side (I know I'm guilty of it sometimes lol) and keep you open to new ideas. I'm amazed the most at how 18 yr olds are more like our generation than 20 somethings, at least where I live. They wearing flattops and listening to 90's rap along with Meek French Ross Chief Keef etc, its ill lol.

My man *dapz* yeah man, that's how it flow. Kind of like when my pops used to school me on his joints and bobbed his head to what I was listening to as well. But I think the lost art of sampling is what's really dividing the generations because that was the common ground. I used to listen to a song and my old man would tell me the original and I would go back to catch the bars they used and we'd vibe off that

I heard triceratops came equipped wit swangaz and a fith wheel.

Aged Rap aint comin back

Don't care. E-40 bout to bless me with some new slappers. I ain't one of the "use to" niggas. If it sounds good to me, I am gonna play it. Music ain't got no age limit. I was around for the first generation of rap and I hope to be around until the last generation.

Ya'll old ass niggas keep it real. How many of ya'll be hopping out old school Lacs banging old school hip-hop, stepping out clean with the white tee, jean shorts, fitted hat (with nothing on it), crispy Reebok classics, gold chain (matching bracelet), and the Motorola Bluetooth in ya'll ear. You OG niggas will park them clean ass old schools anywhere and make sure the whole world hear ya'll Ice Cube CD
