Maybe Public Enemy... from them beginning as college students and DJ's at the radio station to them refusing to sign a deal unless Favor flav was in the group... wanting to do there own production... Bum Rush The Shows release... then not getting radio play and saying fuckem... then dropping "Nations of Millions" and blowing the fuck up... Fight the Power being a huge single and also it being feature in "Do the Right Thing" movie... Prof Griff getting kicked out of the group for talking about Jews... crack getting the best of Flavor Flav... then PE dropping "Welcome to the Terror Dome" and the album "Fear of a Black Planet".

And of course in the middle of all of that there would be drama in the group Griff beating Flava's ass... Chuck D arguing with Def Jam... problems on tour with other groups... chaos in certain cities... racism... ect.

Yeah... I think they could make a Public Enemy movie.

Some of the susscesful rap groups from the 90s. Like 3-4 them that stories intertwined so it doesn't necessarily have to focus on just one group to see the different dynamics and downfalls, setbacks of each group with the movie dwindling down to the best one at the end , kinda like a survival of the fittest thing maybe half documentary half theatrical movie also
