Drake: Dude has potential to be a legend in the game. Right now his career is too young! His rhyme style is over rated but he has charisma, vocals, and flow for days.
KRS-One is the embodiment of hip-hop. When I think of hip-hop I think of KRS.
Pac is over-rated. Not lyrical at all. He is however one of the GOATS when it comes to song writing. He's another one who had charisma and flow for days. Had Pac not gotten popped, I think he would be in a Snoop Dogg role today (industry icon). The more post-humous albums they release with his name on, the more his legacy will get tarnished.
Biggie's first album is one of my top five favorite albums EVER. Ready To Die is a work of art. His flows: On point. Track Order: On Point. Production: On point. Lyrics: On Point. Story Telling: On Point.
Biggie is not a GOAT candidate for me. His second album, had he not been murdered, would not be so revered. It was getting too commercial, Puff was getting in his ear too much oviously. The two disc format had Biggie watered down. Had they condensed the two discs together, it would be ANOTHER classic album.
He is not a GOAT in my eyes because while he could be a nasty MC...in MY opinion he would of been a non factor in today's hip-hop world. I like Biggie's Ready To Die over any one of Pac's albums. Unfortunately for Biggie, he would not of had the staying power (controversy aside) that Pac had in spades.
The greatest of all time for me in MY opinion, is a very under-rated MC. He has it all...flows, lyrics, beat selection, a movement, a dope ass record label of equally dope ass artists. That man would be Tech N9ne. This isin't the juggalo speaking. This is the dude that loves hip-hop more than anything in this world. That being said. His newest album The Gates Mixed Plates is utter garbage. Every one of his albums before that is dopeness on wax.
Choosing between him, or KRS-One was a hard decision.
