I'd say if you're still dropping albums within the past year, or coming later this year... that people know about....then you're actively in the game

Too $hort (44) - Still Blowin' (Wikipedia claims that Too $hort has dropped 18 albums, that average at 600,000 sales each - !!!!)
E-40 (42) - Revenue Retrievin'
Jay-Z (40) - Blueprint 3
Rakim (42) - Seventh Seal
KRS-One (45 next week) - Back To The L.A.B., Survival Skills
Ice Cube - (41) I Am The West
Scarface - (39) (damn he's so much younger than you'd expect) - Dopeman Music
Sen Dog - (44) - Rise Up
Chuck D - (50) - I Don't Rhyme for the Sake of Riddlin' (it's supposed to come out this year, but we'll see)
Flavor Flav - (51)
Dr. Dre - (45)

So I guess KRS-One is the oldest, he dropped Back To The L.A.B. and Survival Skills within the past year...and he's got Boom Bip coming out with DJ Premier....and who knows if Chuck D & Dr.Dre are really gonna drop this year. (plus i don't consider Dre much of a rapper)

I'm betting our Great Jewish Brothers sent you here with this bizarre post...

I bet you won't hear Justin Bieber talking this way at Mick Jagger;

self-hatred is a terrible terrible disease, so Blacks stay losing

I hate my own people because I think krs one hasn't dropped a decent album in YEARS and should put the mic down?

careful now, this could be viewed *as great proof* that you hate being Black or hate when rappers don't 'sell out' to that hip-Pop.

...first Raekwon hyping Justin Bieber, now you post this...

somebody call Kool Herc and check that niggu's blood-pressure/pulse rate!

IF you was born in the 60's you shouldn't be rapping now

This is bullshit mentality. I don't get why the fuck hiphop/rap fans gotta think like this.

It's the only genre that does this. You all fall for fucking gimmicks and the same bullshit ass topics.

I hope when I'm middle aged, there will actually be hiphop/rap music I can enjoy and I can relate to other than some "OHHHHHHHH SUPER SOAK THAT HOE" bullshit, and "O LETS DO IT 2030 Remix'.

I also don't get why rappers diss older rappers for being old...Eminem did it to Benzino, and Cam'ron did it to Jay-Z. I would love an interviewer to ask Eminem or Cam'ron today, when you made fun of Benzino for being back in 2003, he was exactly the age you are today...and you're still rapping. And Cam'ron, when you made fun of Jay-Z for being old 4 years ago and said nobody cares what someone his age has to say.....that is the same age you are today, and artists older than you like Jay-Z & Eminem are more relevant now than you probably have ever been in your career.

I'd love to see how either one of those would answer it.
