Toomp definitely better than half of that list. Triple 6 should not be looked over either. I am not sure who I would go with though

on that list if we are talking about creativity ....then its timbo....but honestly would you want timbo to do your whole album? how man albums outside of his and missy's hiphop wise would you say are classic or even near classic?......i would let timbo do 2 or 3 songs on my album not the whole thing.....

now from that list if we're talking about crafting an album

pimp c (every UGK album was produced by this man and that's him on th hook singing made classics)

organized noise (have made classic)

mannie fresh ( have classics and carried a label)

outside of that list in no order

bangladesh

juicy J & Dj Paul

premo (from praire view TX) don't really consider him a southern based producer though

mike dean (he's not just an engineer)

scarface

Tmixx

toomp

KLC aka beats by the pound

Mr. Lee

drumma boy

polo

Shawty redd

Big Krit (I put him on based off of his potential)

In the same breath though, most of the producers you named have fully produced an album let alone a classic album.

I gotta go with Rico Suede and Sleepy Brown of Organized Noise.

Either Organized Noise or Mike Dean of Rap A Lot (had no idea he was white).

Timbaland is a legend, but his classic work was moreso for R&B singers. I always thought he was an overated hiphop producer.

Mannie Fresh is the man and his work is legendary, but not quite up there with OG or Mike Dean IMO.

KLC from Beats By The Pound, T Mixx from Suave House, N.O. Joe (used to hook up UGK), and DJ Toomp all get an honorable mention too.

What are some songs Mike Dean has produced?

Particularly, with 2pac?

"I Seen A Man Die", "Smile" feat Pac (I think), "Hand Of The Dead Body" feat Ice Cube, "In My Time" (probably my favorite Scarface song ever), "I Hate You Bitch", etc
