Mike Dean should be mentioned. smh

Helped produced countless classics with Geto Boys and Scarface and now with Kanye...you're right.

But on that list..I say Timbaland and Mannie Fresh should tie as Southern G.O.A.T producers with Organized Noize and Pimp C closely following in.

I've always thought this was waaayyyyy to tough to call. I just know Mannie was responsible for so much. The man is responsible for so many full length albums and classic material it's crazy. That nikka WAS Cash Money IMO. To me Baby and Slim are forever indebted to Mannie b/c he basically built it w/ them.

Paul and Juicy are responsible for crunk music and countless classics/albums also. I phuck wit them heavy. Arguably the best production duo/team hip hop has ever seen.

Timbaland had damn near every producer in every genre tryna copy his drum programming @ one point. Dude was just revolutionary. Only thing about him is, I don't think he could craft a WHOLE album worth of HIP HOP beats by himself and that it would go hard track for track (unless you gave him some kind of Dr. Dre time line, lol).

This is hard as phuck! lol

U can throw T Mix and Mr. Lee into the convo also. (out of respect)

The greatest Southern producer ever is Mike Dean (Rap-A-Lot) hands down. This man produced (and mixed) almost the entire catalogs of the Geto Boys and Scarface.

Honorable mentions : Hypnotize Minds (Paul & Juicy), Mannie Fresh, T-Mix (Suave House), Organized Noize, Beats By the Pound (Craig B, KLC, Mo B. Dick), N.O. Joe (UGK, Rap-A-Lot), John Bido (Rap-A-Lot, 3-2)
