lost in the nba finals 2 years in a row, and in the same breath try to downplay a light skin

point guard who carried a bunch of regular niggaz to one of the best records statistically

last year and won a nba title, and seems like he is picking up from where he left off.....

Think about it like this, if steph was to win another title, he would be tied with lebron

He's averaging 5 rebs with 2 stls (in addition to 5 asst)....at his size i think he's doing aight. His best defense may be his offense.

I remember last year Steph told everyone he was a better offensive player than LBJ and people laughed.

He may never be a better defender due to size but i think he's the new face of NBA or will be soon.

Yea we've rarely seen that. If those type numbers remain constant, we'll look back and say Russ was the better, more transcendent player. Granted its like arguing Mike vs Magic, both supremely skilled, just different

And if OKC is to win a title, since KD is more reliant on a jump shot falling and,has shown he can be muscled , im convinced Russ would be the MVP

At first he was Pip to Durant's MJ-clear distinction

Then he was Kobe to Durant's Shaq-close to KD but still not equals.

Going forward tho i think its gon be a Magic-Kareem dynamic (prime karim). Both different but a toss up as to who's 'better'

The way Russ plays he's more unstoppable than Durant

There's a handfull of guys who can slow down and contain KD (Bron, Kwahi, Iggy, etc), not to mention the unavoidable off day from the perimeter
