the features thing, you cant really count that. 50 doesnt work with people, so when people are coming up with who they want on their album, they dont think of him. its not because of his talent or anything of substance. and just look at the song's he has featured on that got big (Down On Me, Up). you dont think someone wants the possibility of that happening for themselves?

Why are saying features don't count and then naming songs that 50-Cent was featured on?

People don't really want to work with 50-Cent, just ask Emenim who would rather work with LiL Wayne or Dr Dre who would rather work with Ross and Jimmy Iovine who would rather work with Dipset....Prodigy (Mobb Deep) would rather work with Nas, and LLoyd Banks recognizes that his biggest chance for a hit is with Dipset

However I do give Soulja Boy credit for giving 50-Cent a feature, and I give LiL B credit for giving Tony Yayo a feature.

...even Brian Pumper was shouting out G-Unit in his new Vlog so ya gotta give you guys some credit.

If I were Curtis Jackson I would be embarrassed RIGHT NOW and years from now that I had just recently performed a concert where I had to resort to playing songs from my only good album because of how unpopular I have become.

I mean having to resort to playing the whole of "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" just to get a buzz(which still was barely not even noticed) is absolutely pathetic and I really wonder why can't 50 realize that its time to just hang it up.

He is an embarrassment who has absolutely no respect for the hip hop culture as an art-form and seems to have just enjoyed bringing negative vibes to the game. Now that the karma is catching up to him it seems that he is trying to salvage his reputation and get on everybody's good side.

"I have to make music that has the moments that Nas had."

^Get the hell out of here with that nonsense. Curtis you have got to be the most uncreative rapper in hip hop history and your most serious and probably best song "Many Men" still is technically uncreative(despite the good production). Your just a horrible emcee and the one thing that you were known for being good for(hooks) , your not even talented at anymore.

And another thing is.......I dont know when did you decide to turn into some guy obsessed with white women and how they react to you---Reading bedtime stories to old white ladies on Chelsea Handler, Acting like a simp when you were dating Chelsea, having MULTIPLE INTERRACIAL sex scenes, etc.....In fact I seriously think Vivica Foxx was the last black woman I saw you actually dating.

But anyway back to what I was saying, look at how many people have had Nas on their songs in the past year........when was the last time you had someone at your college campus, your workplace, on the bus, at a family get-together, etc mention 50 cent when you got onto the topic of hip hop music?

I mean it really is ironic sometimes how karma works. When your that cocky for no reason or no talent to back it up, it NEVER EVER turns out well.

I have said this before and I will say it again...........Get Rich Or Die Tryin' is going to age HORRIBLY as a classic album.

The thought of Nas going back to "nasty nas" has always been the key to fans awaiting each CD. Curtis on the other hand says he's going back to Get Rich Or Die Trying on each mixtape and it comes off wack. Nas's fans will always have patience. Fif's fans jump ship with every new wack release. 50 releases a single and nobody even cares...he even signs a member of the jersey shore and nobody still even cares. Nas drops a single on hot 97 and people start to buzz and rave about it.

In my mind i position nas as still an artist because he has had some guest verses recently and has a new single. For 50 he is positioned as a former artist with money trying to pull stunts and get sonned by chicks like chelsea exposing him.

Nas is still an artist and 50 was an artist (who i liked in the GRODT days) but is not a con artist pulling pranks richie rich style.

when you can find some credible interviews that show major artists saying they wouldnt welcome a 50 feature, drop those links. otherwise, youre just speculating. 50 picks and chooses who he wants to give a verse to, not the other way around.

when did 50 properly release a single? Girls Go Wild got leaked. that doesnt count. most DJs didnt even debut it because they know 50 didnt want it dropped.

B.S.

Yall dudes making who's featured more as criteria. SMH

1 50 never been the type to hoe himself on everybody's record, even when he was the hottest out. He's consistent with that attitude.

2. Nas is broke, Owes IRS, Kellis' ether. He maybe begging to be on records, making himself available for cheap.

Really think if 50 "wanted" to be on mad records he couldn't? yea ok. lol

As Chris lightly wouldn't make sure 50 gets on mad records, as if 50 not cool with the "hottest" out. Don't let the blogs fool you.

It's hate on 50 campaign til 2050 i guess. lol

Yeah people actually used SONG's as the criteria...is that a surprise?

1. 50-Cent has always whored himself out to the Nicole Sherzinger, Ciara, LiL Kim, Justin Timberlake, Soulja Boy, & Black Eyed Peas, but no rapper or singer truly wants a verse from a mediocre rapper with no buzz since 2007.

2. 50-Cent is a house-ni99er, a comic-buffoon who wears wigs and does Internet skits when he isn't doing gay GQ magazine covers and nude jail-house shower scenes in his movies. He sells dildos, dates ugly old white women and secretly records phone-convos of his artists.

He's been dissed by nearly every rapper in the industry and called a snitch and a f*ggit so much that people actually forget that those are the worst labels the streets can put on you.

His delusional fans actually believe these artists would want a 50-Cent verse on their songs GTFOH.

If his Bosses Emenim & Dr Dre dont want him on their records then why would the rest of the industry? Emenim would rather make records with T.I, and Dre wants to work with relevant artists or West coast artists.

Don't let the 50-Cent Lovers fool you, the dudes music isnt even a thought outside the Internet.

so 50 wont be on Detox? oh, ok. wrong.

was Dre on BISD? oh, yeah, he did produce for him.

facts >>>>

50 wasnt on Recovery because 50's style of rapping and content didnt go well with Em's attempt at a more crossover album, as well as more heartfelt songs. get over yourself.

Niggaz waste a lot of time projecting hope... Face it, its a wrap for Nas.

Stick a fork in Nas because his goose is cooked.

He has had his final curtain and there will be no encore.

Nas will do Budden numbers at this stage of the game.

He had a great run, even got a classic album and all and for that I salute him but at the same time, I keep shit on the ground.

50>>> Nas 2012

AINT NOBODY GOT NAS BANGIN IN THE WHIP FOR ALL TO HEAR... and those that do are far an in between to even matter because they usually just playing to themself.

Nobody out here on the soil checkin for Nas, just niggaz on forums & blogs.

Maybe MF Doom can give Nas a good jumpstart buzz with another old album remix or something.

50 Cent aka Curtis is this generations MC Hammer/Vanilla.

no one wil giv a fuck bout him in 30 years time while Nas is slowly becomin to Hiphop what Marvin Gaye wuz to RnB/Soul
pffft... stop it... Nas is an aquired taste.

Nas being featured is whats keeping his name somewhat relevant on forums and blogs but thats it. Niggaz aint hosting mixed company (ladies-fellas) and puttin on Nas

niggaz aint at a club and hearing Nas spin

niggaz aint got 3 hotmamaz in the whip with Nas on repeat or even in a rotation.

Nas is one of the die-hards personal favorites and I understand your zeal to wanna keep jumpstarting his flatlined career but sometimes ya just gotta accept things for what they are.

I personally love Nas music over the years but at the same time I am a realist.

We can see who gives Reactions now so let me ask you why you flagged this thread?

Nas last album sold more domestically than 50-Cents last album but when we talk about relevancy in HipHop we are not just talking about record sales.

Lets ignore 50-Cents sales rhetoric and focus on the music and the lyrics and who's album is more anticipated.

When people see/hear videos/songs like "Nasty", & "Ghetto Dreams" & "Nothing to Lose" you can't deny that Nas is still relevant in the eyes of his peers and after seeing the excitement behind "The Don" it's safe to say that his album is in most peoples top ten or top 5 anticipated this year.

Poor 50-Cent just doesn't generate the level of excitement in 2012 like a more relevant artist Nas does.

dont be so paranoid i would never flag your thread or anyone's, even that ICP fans

i only have one account and i been posting on it for year(s) now

Nas is my all time fav artist(grew up in NY), all though i avoid threads about him on these forums like the plague because of the retarded "Nas Lost" virus, yet niggas on here like Waka and J. Cole get more love somehow then him(poor southern hip hop fans)

50 cent generates buzz with his mixtapes still, i think they both would go gold still, if 50 cent made a Hip Hop album and went gold he would get more of his buzz back

Nas obviously better overalll artist its like comparing D4L to Onyx, but i feel 50 still relevant if he ever decides to stop making techno

Smh..this nigga is straight delusional. You're paragraph is basically a pipe dreams because you're not a psychic and can't predict the future.

Plus you sound like a bitch so stop whining and stick to facts at hand according to the premise of this thread.

The fact is 5-0 is NOT RELEVANT....AT ALL. He has NO BUZZ. Nobody, check again, NOBODY wants to work with him. Nobody in R & B, nobody in Hip Hop...PERIOD. If that's the case then why is any of the current artists that's making noise RIGHT NOW requesting to work with Nas and his 16? Why 50 isn't getting any calls? If blogs/message boards was Nas' claim to fame for relevance then Rick Ross, Mary J Blige, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne wouldn't be requesting his 16's.

Lol @ you're banging in the whip comment. Only idiots make assumptions to throw off the FACTS of the topic. You're 50>>> Nas 2012 sounds like a G-Unit groupie clawing and fighting for attention because you know that's not FACT at all. Just stop it.
