Niggas kill me with this shit
You gon say some ol general ass shit with no kinda details to back the shit and then have the nerve to say close thread
Shut the fuck up, nigga

He speaks the truth tho. Luda albums are generic as fuck and Im a fan, Ive purchased 4 of his albums. Dude has like 4 songs with some actual content to them. His technical aspect of rapping takes him a long way, real talk. TI's albums are well rounded from Im Serious to No Mercy.

smh @ race being involved in this thread. Thats how you know when niggas start reaching.

luda is underrated. niggas dont wanna put him in the category cuz he did songs with justin beiber n enrique iglesias. i think that luda & tip are both deserving but i have to say Luda a bit more cuz lyrically hes always been on point & creatively hes yet to disappoint. Luda deserves more props. Oh & he BEAT T.I. when they battle so whos who again ? come on now.....

U gonna call that a battle really? lol I say Luda had the best subliminal punchline. That "song" was avg at best and then they went on to do 2 songs with each other. No Jayz/Nas battle to be won their.

TI's well rounded albums>>>Luda's character career

Lol, you know as well as I know fans put negativity over positivity that's why everyone says Luda is too corny to be a legend even though he's better than T.I. in every aspect of rap except Street cred. I applaud Luda for staying true but I guess that doesn't matter to fans anymore

Peep game:

I applaud Luda for having the ability to make music that's not about criminality because we are not all criminals, some of us just want to party, smash bitches, and parlay..Ludacris represents that. His music has matured too over the years and he reps his region with class.

T.I. didnt want War with God he wanted to gobble X-pills with Miss Piggy and stockpile Russian machine-guns....he's an Urban legend nothing more.

thats what I don't understand though, just because he makes music you can enjoy in a social setting he's corny? People actually say Luda hasn't had any growth but it's just that he's so well-rounded he can cover all bases all while doing it with a smile. I stand by the statement that Ludacris is responsible for the wave of Atlanta artist getting shine during the 2000's

There are a million trap-rappers in ATL, but it's only one Ludacris.

He is one of the highest selling southern artists with over 19.5 million units sold in the United States alone. Ludacris is tied with Sean Combs for having the most Billboard Hot 100 number one songs as a rap artist (5 each). He also is the rap artist with the most top ten appearances on that chart (19 top ten hits).

You gotta respect Luda's craft, he has never been the typical Coke & Gun's rapper promoting filth or fantasy to stay relevant.

Luda has shown consciousness, maturity and growth in his music over the last decade (Runaway Love, Do the right thang, etc..) and managed to carve out a successful movie career in the meantime. His business acumen speaks for itself with the success of Conjure Cognac and his label DTP.

No gay-scandals, public-buffoonery, publicized arrests, or divisive bickering and beefs, just an ambassador of HipHop representing the culture like it should be.

smh at niggas like luda and ti being considered legends, nothing against them personally but out of the artists that debuted in the 2000's only kanye is close to legendary status imo.

Word??? 50 aint a legend????

To be real, there really aint nothing revolutionary about either of them niggas. They each had their successful run in the rap game. But they're far from legends.

Straight up, T.I. got that. All of his albums were classicS (excludingi NO Mercy...idk....) and he hotter than the sun in the looks department... Not to discredit Luda, but Tip got him beat.

Now lyrically, the boy Luda take the cake (Can't discredit that).

FREE T.I.!!!!!!
