No. IWW was a great album but he was just getting into his Esco phase.

To me from 97-99 w/ THE FIRM, I AM, & NASTRADAMUS were watered down.

They had some great songs on them but imo as close to struggle years as Nas has had.

Was dumbfounded by OP thread title but still looked out of curiosity. Saw Esco(with Nas already in my mental) Puff, Future and started 2 get confused for some reason. Started reading the Tweet posts and was even more confused. Then started 2 think they was talm bout Nas. Lol I'm done with the yung gunz. In what way? It was written and I Am are his two best selling albums. It was written is widely regarded as a great album, I am doesn't really get any hate. Nastradamus is the undeniable low point of Nas's career, and he had stopped doing the esco stuff by then.

I forgot about The Firm album. Still wasn't his low point though cause no one really gives a fuck about that album, and phone tap is awesome.
