Ja Rule is more lyrical than Devin The Dude and more of a technical MC

Ja Rules biggest hits feature RnB singers doing the hook for him to give him a hit main one being Ashanti without her featuring on the hooks the songs wouldn't be hits

Devin The Dudes biggest hits have no features just him on the songs solo singing the hooks himself

Ja Rule content is much more harder and street than Devin The Dudes content

Yeah Ja was going up against 50 Cent and Eminem while the Feds were taking down Irv Gotti and Murder Inc. The battle with 50 and Eminem was only half the reason he fell off, the other half of the reason was the Feds shutting down his label.
