I'm not a day 1 fan, but he's gaining some playing time from me.

As for this thread?... Nobody really gained any heat this year, IMO.

i remember when i got hip to action. i stumbled across a segment of him on 1 of them late night talk shows. he was cooking then spit some HOT freestyle.. caught me off guard. this was about 2 years ago. that night, i got hip to this song

The bolded are all better than him lyrically. Bronson's skill set as of right now is solely random non sequitors and punchlines. Them other dudes have dudes have dugs deeper into their creativity, telling stories and creating concepts outside of braggadocio. I didn't wanna bold Drake cuz I don't fuck with him, but even he has more diversity than Bronson. And yes, diversity does make you a better MC, even though clearly none of them dudes can do the one thing Bronson is great at. And again, I've bumped Rare Chandeliers and SAAB Stories more than any project dropped in the last year, so this is coming from a purely objective POV.

Stories like Peer Pressure? Stories like Lost Ones? Or T.I vs T.I.P. (shit was wack, but at least he tried thinking outside the box)? Note I said outside of braggadocio. Them songs you posted were dope, but that's just regular Bronson shit told in story form. Bronson never put his hand on the blade and showed vulnerability like them dudes. I listen to Bronson more than any of them cats, and is my favorite new artist. But I acknowledge skill when I see it. To me he's dope, but to others he's a caricature cuz he's one dimensional, hate to say it. MC means move the crowd... and if you can't show more than one side of yourself, after a while the crowd will stop moving, word to Redman (my favorite rapper).

what action bronson tapes you familiar with.. cuz so far, it sound like you just hip to the 7 song saab stories and rare chandeliers.

but at the end of the day, you either like pepsi or you like coke.

we can go song for song and let the lyrics speak for themself.. or you can just give a opinion that dont mean shit.

The only joints I haven't heard is his earlier shit and BC2, which I'm downloading as we speak. I just got put on to him early this year, but I've heard enough to where I can make an assessment. RC and SS just happen to be my favorites from him. Again, Bronson is my favorite new rapper, and this isn't a complaint... but out of the 5 tapes I heard from him, it's pretty much the same shit. Maybe I've yet to hear something that might bring a different perspective, but if that something didn't spread out through 5 mixtapes, that's not a good case. Them other dudes I mentioned make it their business to be versatile, and highly skilled at those different things. I can show you tons of examples of Kendrick, Cole and them flexing lyrically on different subjects. Them 2-3 tapes I missed from Bronson ain't gonna change my mind.
