Tebow is off the hook for having a new coach
Randy Moss is off the hook for being old
B Marshall is off the hook for having a team built against using him

Alex SMith is off the hook becuase he is alex smith and they never appear to care how bad he's done. alex smith is the nfl equivalent to bush jr.

CS analogy of the year.

I say B Marshall because if he doesnt do well, and with a subpar last season and a crazy off season, his days in Miami would be numbered.

This could be Randy's last year, and could go a long way towards his legacy.

If Tebow doesnt do well, he may never get another shot.

you probably right about smith, he could do real shitty and get 4 more years.

i cant find that shit in the news anymore but i remember there being a report about alex smith's father or gradnfather being college buddies with 49er's brass and thats why he was drafted despite of his "small hands"

AND

from wiki
The San Francisco 49ers, who held the first overall pick, had hired a strong personality head coach in Mike Nolan. Nolan thought Smith to be cerebral, introspective, and non-confrontational. Nolan also evaluated Aaron Rodgers but did not believe that Rodgers' attitude could co-exist with him.

so basically,
Smith got the job cause of family connects and he a pushover manchurian candidate

Same with Tebow as it is with Alex Smith. I guarantee you Tebow will get a second chance somewhere else if he fails in Denver. Marshall --- I don't know. I think, well, I HOPE Miami realizes what they signed up for when they got him -- on and off the field. As long as they realize that, it ain't much pressure. He's still what he was a year ago when they got him -- a troubled, talented receiver. What else is new?
