The West Coast of course.

I been saying this since K.Dot first came on the scene....movie in the making. K.O.W
=youtube_gdata_player

Gay ass Dre gonna come through right on time like that comet come around about every decade

N.W.A "Straight out of Compton" (1988) = Classic

Dr Dre "The Chronic" (1992) = Classic

Snoop Doggy Dogg "DoggyStyle" (1993) = Classic

50-Cent "Get Rich and Die Trying" (2003) = Classic

Kendrick Lamar = "good kid m.a.a.d city" (2012) = Classic

Meek bringing the streets back but Kendrick bringing another Classic home to the West Side.

Did you leave out The Documentary on purpose?

K Dot easy. He has created his own lane, besides putting out great work in the past (Section. 80). Good kid m.a.a.d city is destined to be great , plus he has Dre in his corner. Meek is riding the mmg wave and hasn't set himself apart from his own crew.

Kendrick Lamar will in my opinion because he has more of a subject matter, he doesn't stick to one subject like Meek Mill and MMG does and Meek's voice starts to get on my nerves after awhile, kind of reminded me of Freeway.

The songs I have heard from Kendrick Lamar is on different subjects.

1. She Needs Me

2. Hii Power

3. The Recipe

4. ADHD

All have a different subject in each song and you can't sleep on Lamar's beats, Dre and J.Cole be giving him good beats too, Ross is just more popular so Meek will get more shine but, it won't be a classic, Lamar will have that.

GOAT for mentioning that song.

first of all kendrick is a conscious mc who talks about several topics

meek is a street nigga

so the comparison can't be all accurate

The question was which one is more likely to drop a classic? A classic is a classic, doesn't matter if it's GRODT or Black on Both Sides. If there was ever a nigga that needed the label street/conscious it's kendrick. Yall put this label on him like he's mos def or some shit... these songs are not "conscious":

yeah right kendrick is street/ conscious but he isn't the only one nas was the first nigga to be street/conscious

immortal technique is strret/conscious/political

jadakiss. trae the truth drops great conscious records while they are mainly street niggas

meek mill is dropping soulful conscious records bur he is mainly street artist but kendrick is mainly conscious rapper by style but drops street records by affiliation with street niggas both of them could drop classics but it will be unfair to compare between two different styles but it would differ from one's taste to another of what album he enjoyed the most but it would affect the ratings of which album is a classic and which is not

She Needs Me is a smooth song and if you listen to the lyrics, I like how he played out the situation.

The chick was successful, had a top position and was engaged to a successful actor and she still wanted to be with the regular nigga at the end of the day and didn't mind cooking for him. I play that song for my wife all the time Lol.

LOL, I knew my brother would see that omission....others may argue the Emenim joints.

That clown Game is an embarrassment, he should re-join G-Unit and rep Finland or join them Odd Future dudes.

The name-dropping, attention-whoring, butterfly-tats, bi-polarism, WorldStar posturing, Twitter beefing and corniness is just too raggedy to be affiliated with, Dr Dre might mash trannies on the low, worship Emenim and be a woman-beater but at least he carries himself like an adult in the public and he trying to bring the West back with Kendrick.

Snoop is a caricature, he on his Bob Marley ish so I welcome some new energy from the West that ain't clownish and on that hipster-skater-weirdo-banger shtick that the so-called ambassadors of the coast think they need to rep in order to succeed.

An argument can be made that Eazy Does it & No one Can do it Better are classics but I fear many heads would label them regional classics so I leave it alone, but they are definite Gems in Dre's production Hall of Fame.

meek is the best rapper in mmg and he aint even all that, yall are trying to go on like they are some skillfull dudes. being hot this year has nothing to do with ability.

1. I never said he was the ONLY ONE thats street conscious

2. Can we get some type of punctuation in that paragraph so I can read it

3. A classic is a classic, so you can compare them. There are classics that come from every genre of hip-hop....

Neither one.. meek will scream over all his tracks and Kendrick will bore me to sleep.. them niggas is energy drinks and nyqil, respectively

As a fan of the music, I'm rooting for both to deliver strong projects.

However, after hearing DC1 and 2, only a handful of songs go outside of his usual.

Kendrick on the other hand, can do a Ignorance is Bliss, Growing Apart, a Vanity Slaves and a Uncle Bobby and Jason Keaton. That's street issh, vulnerability in a relationship, materialism and the prison industrial complex. And that's a couple joints. But after 3 projects, I wonder how much he got left.

Ignorance...

Growing...

Vanity Slaves

Uncle Bobby

There has not been a Dr.Dre produced track by Kendrick Lamar released yet, so how does he give him good beats? There is one song J Cole produced for him that was released and two unofficial leaks in terrible quality that Kendrick performed in person, so how does J Cole give him good beats too?
