Shit bruh I have no clue. I hope Lupe. He's pretty much been a dude who's under the radar and usually that leads to a bit more longevity but in a world full of ignorant niggas who don't LISTEN....not hear but LISTEN I doubt it happens the same way.

Anybody who is legitimately GOOD in this era is overshadowed: Lupe, Killer Mike and a few others should be held in higher esteem than they are.

this is something you can't predict nor can the older generation determine it. Im sure there was people who thought Ja Rule and NElly would last and that Jay-Z would never make it

I voted J Cole, because i think he has the most unpolished talent and room to grow.

I think Drake has already peaked as a artist

Krit has no commercial appeal, so i don't know if he will transcend like that.

I think Nicki could of been the one, but she played herself selling out trying to go pop when she didn't have to.

Currensy is a niche pothead rapper

Big Sean is too cartoonish imo, i don't see him making music that's timeless.

Meek style will wear on people eventually, i don't know if dude is a diverse enough as a artist

Wale, i like Wale but he has to make sure he doesn't put himself in a female song making artist.

Kendrick, i don't think he will have the commercial success to transcend

what does commercial appeal have to do with being legendary?.....some of the greatest are straight underground

if krit keeps doing what he's doing, he got it in my book

Name a rapper who had mass impact globally that didn't sell records. You think Masta Ace, Lil Brother, etc have transcended rap like Pac or Outkast.

Dudes like Pac, Jay, Nas,Outkast, Tribe, etc are the best of the best because they did it well on the greatest level and the biggest platform. Clearly underground niggas are underground because they lack something.

I chose other because Lupe probably the only one I think can attain legendary status from this generation.

Mind you legendary status is subjective a lot of times - i wouldn't consider pimp c to have it but a lot of ppl here do so it can all be relative

Out of the artists listed, it has to be Kendrick.

I fuck w/ KRIT heavy, but his beatmaking process and the sound of his beats hasn't changed since he's been in the game.

Doubt he can be the next Kanye, but K.R.I.T will go down as a southern legend for sure.

Did this nigga say ASAP Rocky?
