yea hard to say eazy when Cube ren and DOc wrote all his own lyrics biggie had a big impact on putting ny rap back on the forefront more than an overall influence on the game
Again I am talking about impact on the HipHop Culture, not who rapped the best or wrote the best shit impact on the culture. Eazy proved that gangsta rap sells and it made it possible for Mafioso rap to sell. The gangsta culture of LA wasintroduced to a lot of People for the 1st time By NWA if the Missed Ice T's presentations of the Life. Biggie took and cemented HipHop as a part of Pop Music but Eazy 1st Made Hardcore get recognition. So lets just on Impact and not actual lyrics or personal Preference in style...

Yes, a better question would be if there was no Dre would there be an Eazy or Ice Cube.

People often forget that the music will always be the foundation, instrumentals can sell for thousands accapella's are only worth money after you die.

Eazy E gave us something new.....Biggie gave us sodomy lyrics and pop tunes.

I say Eazy because without him being the one that created NWA, there would be no Gangsta Rap.

He helped make Gangsta Rap become a multi-platinum selling genre, people didn't believe that it would get this big and get popular.

Without NWA Pac, B.I.G. and so on would not really have a career in Hip Hop.

Before NWA, Hip Hop was party, knowledge and comical type themes, Eazy and NWA made another way for people to tell their story.

I say there still would have been a Cube and Eazy. Without Dre they likely would have found another producer maybe they wouldn't have been as popular but the lyrics made the biggest impact with NWA. How much production was Yella doing for NWA?
yella was the D.J. Dre molded the West-Coast sound that put us on the map.

Eazy had the money and the Heller connect.

ICE Cube had the Rhymes

Dre had the music.

For a true indication of their value just look at their solo carrers :)
