the original oozed with neon colors, early 90s and early 90s black pride culture emerging among whites

its use of the dozens was also fresh and i remember it being amongst the first showcases of it in a mainstream hollywood film or at least so far as i can tell that kadeem hardison showcase at the top of white men cant jump basically kicked off that whole phenomenon in larger pop culture

i remember the stores selling 'snaps' books like crazy and since then it has been extored to death by mainstream america culminating into mtv shows like yo momma

the whole cast was good but snipes was great

he was doing some of his best work in the 90's

i always thought he was great whether in comedy, action or drama

to this day i consider him one of the most underrated (mostly because he didnt do the kinds of movies that garner awards) and greatest actors OF ALL TIME
